Location
Housekeeping is slow, didn’t make our rooms some days. No night concierge to take the bags downstairs and check out.
Staff were super lovely, the location is great and he bathroom is great.
The rooftop pool area is tiny, there aren’t a lot of sunbeds and they are pretty filthy (always covered in hair?). The rooftop area is also owned by a separate company and they host lots of private events so both Friday and Saturday night we couldn’t use it before 9pm. There aren’t really any other facilities (other than a fairly small and old gym) so you’re really just paying for the room. Had we known we would not have paid the amount we did to stay. Also our room overlooked a building site and was quite noisy, even for NY!
The location in Soho is excellent, walkable from everywhere you need to go, with the right vibe and feel for the area.
The stars of the show are undoubtedly the reception/concierge team who simply cannot do enough for you. Stand out star is Kristy - she is the ‘face of the property’ and what a great smiley face she has, too!

I liked the location and the staff, which are all nice people.
The AC automatically turns on and off by motion detectors. So if you´re out of the room it shuts down. It also shuts down when you´re sleeping because there´s no movement. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was summer in NYC, and the weather was 90 degrees.
