We LOVEDDDD this hotel. It was our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to treat us so well. We loved the room and view and La Labo soap and shampoo. We also loved the location.
Nothing.
The fact they advertised that the room was 29 sa.m but in teality was smaller
Bed was comfortable.
Location was great.
Rooftop bar was tacky.
Gym was poor.
Price for what it is is high.
Lage
Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich
Hat alles gepasst
• Excellent Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of SoHo, making it very easy to get around.
• Service: The staff was consistently friendly and professional throughout our stay.
• Cleanliness: Our room and the common areas were very clean and well-maintained.
• Comfort Tip: If you are traveling as a couple, I highly recommend booking a room with a King bed, as the standard rooms can feel quite small.
• Facility Issues: We were disappointed to find that one of the two treadmills in the gym was out of order during our entire stay, and the yoga mats were in poor condition.
• Lack of Hot Water: We had no hot water for one full day. For a hotel in this category, having basic utilities like hot water is a must.
• Housekeeping Oversight: One night, we returned to our room to find the window had been left wide open by the cleaning staff. With an outside temperature of 3°C, the room was freezing when we arrived.
I loved Christie at the front desk. The staff was wonderful. I liked the corner room too though there is some construction.
Honestly the roof terrace needs a revamp to demand the prices and be truly high end. The pool needs to be re tiled and the cocktail bar needs a makeover. I think it was expensive for what you get.. the breakfast wasn't luxe
Lovely location for Soho
Personalet var rigtige venlige og hjæpsom. Der var en gut fra Ungarn, ( kan desværre ikke huske navnet ) han var meget imødekommende.
Ærgerligt at de ikke havde en resturant. Men den var under ombygning.
Nothing
ModernHaus Soho presents itself as a five-star hotel, but the service we experienced was anything but. From the moment of arrival, the welcome from the female reception staff was cold, dismissive and unnecessarily rude. My boss, for whom I had booked the stay, immediately commented on how unfriendly and unprofessional the atmosphere felt.
As his assistant, I had asked for my name to be noted on the reservation so I could easily access his room when running errands or managing his luggage. Despite this, I wasn't give a key card and had to wait for security to let me access his floor, an absurdly time-consuming process that often took several minutes just to get back up to it. For a hotel positioning itself at the luxury end of the market, this level of inflexibility and lack of basic hospitality was astonishing.
The situation deteriorated further on departure day. My boss had left his luggage in storage but, in the rush to catch his flight, forgot to pass me the ticket number. Having been in and out of the hotel for three days, I reasonably expected reception to show some initiative and assist. Instead, when I called ahead from a taxi to explain I was a minute away and about to miss my own flight, I was met with a blunt and unhelpful response insisting that my boss should somehow send the ticket number from the air because “planes have Wi-Fi.” On arrival, the same receptionist dismissively pointed me towards the bellboy and told me to deal with him. I was then required to retrieve the luggage personally from the storage room, adding unnecessary delay and making an already stressful situation worse.
To add insult to injury, the booking indicated that the room would be upgraded. In reality, my boss was given a very small, underwhelming room. Had this been communicated honestly at the time of booking, I would have happily paid more for a property that actually delivers on its promises.
Great location and wonderful, helpful Staff! Comfortable bed in a spacious room for NYC.
A little water damage in the bathroom.
