The worst hotel stay of my entire trip — and by far the most disappointing of the six hotels I stayed in.
The hotel amenities are extremely basic, with nothing extra to make the stay comfortable. The air conditioner is an odd brand and so loud that it sounds like I’m sitting inside an airplane. Even worse, the airflow seems to have a mind of its own — constantly changing and blowing inconsistently throughout the night. Displays on aircon is 34 degrees when max u could adjust is up to 30 degrees?!!!!
But the most frustrating issue was the toilet. Every 10 seconds or so, there was an intermittent flushing sound, which made it extremely difficult to sleep.
Overall, this was easily the worst stay out of the six hotels on my trip. Don’t be deceived by the photos — the actual experience was incredibly disappointing. I genuinely regret choosing this hotel.
Loved the location, central to everything, especially the places we needed as we were attending a wedding at the St Michaels Church right behind the hotel. Had a path leading right to it. Shopping mall only a 2min walk away. 5min drive downhill to the beach or lighthouse. Parking secure and underground with easy access and enough spaces. Decent price for security and convenience. Check in/out easily done online.
The cleaners didn't visit our room once over the 4 day stay, maybe we didnt use our door handle cards properly, we were able to get fresh towels, etc after requesting to reception so not a big deal for us really. They were lovely to help and very prompt. I couldnt get comfortable with the bed, found it pretty stiff so didnt get much good rest. The streets can be quite lively during the night with pedestrians walking into town so need to close the windows if you want some peace. Air con unit a little loud, so would keep windows open for fresh air. No phone in the bedroom to call reception. As I was using overseas roaming so I had to pay for calls to the hotel reception each time. A hand towel rail needed in bathroom. We had the petite room.
Good except some person vapour in room and the alarm went off at 6 in the morning. We got dressed by that time they worked out the room and persons room.

Room was good, had everything we needed. We didn't stay for Breakfast, maybe next time. We were short of time.
Bar fridge was very noisy , had to turn it off at night.
The breakfast was very good, staff were very polite and helpful.
The bed needs replacing, it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom, while adequate, could have been slightly more comfortable with hand towel racks.
great location, secure parking underneath hotel, great location, my go to hotel in the gong.
there is nothing not to like, i have stayed here heaps now and will continue to stay there.
