Auf rosa roten Wolken mitten in Berlin

Preis Leistung war sehr gut

Cons:

Leider haben wir das Motto des Hotels zu spät bemerkt - unser Versehen. Es ist Musik. Daher legten Abends DJs auf und es war sehr laut. Wir wollten eher reden, das war kaum möglich

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Ambiente. Insgesamt wirklich sehenswert, das ganze Design ist stimmig. Besonders zu empfehlen sind Bar und die zahlreichen Veranstaltungen.

Ich habe ein Zimmer für beeinträchtigte Gäste erhalten, da war die Dusche barrierefrei. Also mit Duschvorhang und nicht so schön. Aber ok, hab einen Dönergutschein erhalten…. aber ja.. ;)

Negative spiral
Pros:

I’ve been a regular guest at the Nhow Berlin for the past 16 years. The hotel have been declining for the past 7 years. First they closed the restaurant, so now you only have this cheap diner food that they sell you at disproportionate prices. Then they removed the minibars. Then They removed the security(in 2022 I apprehended a literal theif in my room, who had stolen a keycard from the maid and was raiding my suite). Now they have also removed the service and decency when it comes to taking care of the guests and settling up. At our latest visit, they not only were absolutely uncaring of my wife’s disability, they actually tried to cheat us on the bill, overcharging us for food, drinks and services we had ordered during our stay. Even when confronted with this issue, I had to do the defend my claim repeatedly, because they would not recognise their mistake. I had to contact my Discovery club and have them argue my case, before they would pay up the difference. All in all a sad development upon an already sad development.

For posterity’s sake, I feel I need to address parts of the Nhow answer to my review. Because from it, it would seem that Lena is denying my grievances and are thus indirectly calling me untruthful. Therefore I have attached the communications that I have in writing with them:

Dear Lena

First off you’ll find your predecessor, Marius, apologising for the burglar in my room, that I apprehended for you and subsequently stopped before he could burglarise other rooms. He outright writes that it does not happen often, which means it happens sometimes. That is a security problem.

Second picture is your colleague Sophie Lehmann outright refusing to help with my wife’s claustrophobia, by denying us accommodation that avoid triggering her anxiety. All due to a system error. This makes your claim to help people with disabilities unfounded.

Third picture is you politely denying my claim about the bill and insisting that I sort out the matter with my horizons club. Thus you didn’t act on my claim when you noticed it. You made me work further to get what was rightfully mine.

I am not posting these lightly, but see no other way to make my review be taken seriously and thereby help you in earnest to take responsibility and do better.

Perfekt für ein paar Nächte.
Pros:

Sehr moderne Einrichtung, viele angenehme Extras. Wasser im Zimmer und bei diesem Futter unten in der Lobby. Das Frühstück. Die Atmosphäre am Ufer. Das freundliche Personal.

Cons:

Unter der Zimmertür schien sehr viel Licht vom Flur durch. Wenn nachts jemand auf die Toilette geht, wird im ganzen Zimmer sehr hell aufgrund der Glaswand. Bei uns im Zimmer hat der Wasserhahn geklemmt. Ich hab mir da den Finger eingeklemmt. Im Spa-Bereich gibt es keine Haken, wo man sein Handtuch bei der Dusche hinhängen könnte.
