The New Inn is a Grade I listed building, and has no disabled facilities. Bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors.

Check in times from 14:00 to 21:00. Late check ins only by prior arrangement.

The nearest car park is Kings Walk (GL1 1EA) which is at the rear of the property.

High vans should use Hare Lane North car park (GL1 1DF). It is free between the hours of 18:00 and 07:00 and costs GBP 3 per day Monday - Saturday and GBP 2 for Sundays.

Passengers and luggage may be dropped off at the back door in New Inn Lane - close to Kings Walk car park.

Please Note: The New Inn provides live music on a Friday night between 9pm & midnight and Karaoke on a Saturday night between 8pm & midnight - please be aware this is a city center hotel / bar and it can get noisy on the weekendsPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Ein schönes Gebäude, zahlt sich aber wirklich nicht aus.
Pros:

Von außen ein sehr schönes, altes Gebäude. Personal im Pub sehr nett!!

Cons:

Leider sehr schmutzig, der Badezimmerboden war voller schwarzer Haare, also nicht nur eines, sondern richtig viel. Wir haben die Schuhe nicht ausgezogen.

Memorable and characterful
Pros:

Wonderful heritage location in the heart of the city. Friendly staff, nice bar and good breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing. Those with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs. It is a very old building steeped in history and wonderfully eccentric. About as far from the beige blandness of a premier inn as you can get!

Very clean, comfortable. Had a fan which was a bonus as weather very hot

Pros:

My partner was wrongly accused of hurting another resident who was staying there and was arrested, no further action was took and the person in question did it meant to doing the attack

I would like Booking.com to get in touch with me and remove any bad Remove any bad character references during our stay with Booking.com as this is a Conflict of character

Flair des alten Gebäudes ist großartig, aufmerksames und sympathisches Personal. Das Inn ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!!

Cons:

Steile Treppen (kein Lift), die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ist bei einem historischen Gebäude aber auch nicht anders zu erwarten.
