Lovely hotel, very comfortable accommodation

Everything excellent!
You had a choice of cooked breakfast and there were cereals, yoghurt & juices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was very good. Many pubs & and restaurants around. There are places of interest to see but for me it was the abbey that stood out.
We stayed 2 nights and can’t find anything to moan about.
A wonderful historic hotel and beautifully decorated. Great breakfast and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend booking.

We were very well looked after and the meal for eight of us on the Saturday night was enjoyed by everyone. Many thanks.
Clean , friendly staff, great location!
The pillows were not comfy ( but that’s personal preference !
Beautiful decor
Really friendly helpful staff, the room was a good size and a lovely view over the canal along with a good breakfast. Its easy to get to from out of the area from the M5 heading to the centre of town. We used the hotel as a base when coming down for the RHS Malvern Show.
Pillows were a bit hard for me, but each to their own. The car park is quite tight and busy so would recommend maybe looking up other options to park if you arrive and there is no availability
Character and history
Improved cleanliness - stained mugs in room and black marks in toilet.
It felt as if customer care was a higher priority than saving money which is rare. Food was good in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Could have used one more shelf in the bathroom. We got lucky with the parking. Don't know what happens when the car park is full.
Location, room and public areas all great.
Arrived on Sunday. Went to restaurant where we had pre-booked a table. Were given menus then told "we're out of all Sunday roasts and anything with chips will come with skinny fries as we're out of the chunky ones".
Pre warned we placed our orders - the food was ok but my fish and (skinny) chips was reminiscent of dining at the golden arches. Checked the following morning and the pie of that day was the same as the previous day and they still would have only skinny fries - so we went out for food that night. Disappointing.
