Good value hotel which is well run and convenient for the station.
Pros:

This is a well run hotel with unusually helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and the theme of the hotel is well executed and relevant to its location. The breakfast and food generally was decent and offers good value. The interaction with staff felt natural rather than being coaxed from a training manual.

Cons:

The age of the building limits improvements and the sound proofing seemed inadequate but these are minor quibbles. Perhaps the owners of the Burlington could visit to see how to enhance an old building rather than ruining it- bed rooms in the Burlington look as if a random 1970's approach has been implemented for no discernable reason. However the Burlington bar looks fine unlike the bedrooms.

Overnight stay
Pros:

Excellent location. Very good value for money paid.

Very comfortable stay with fab breakfast and friendly staff
Pros:

Nice staff, very comfortable room. We took our dog and they had put a bed, biscuits and water bowl in the room ready for him. The pub was busy when we went to bed but we couldn’t hear the noise from room. The breakfast was really good.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything.

Our third stay here. All very pleasant indeed.
Cons:

The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. We only mentioned it when leaving and the staff were concerned and I’m sure would deal with it immediately

Pros:

Bed was comfy, clean room and very quiet.

Cons:

Shower only had one door. So water went all over the floor when showering. Slip hazard. But we told reception who would look in to it

We stayed at the Railway hotel to attend a concert at Worthing Assembly rooms.
Pros:

The hotel is ideally situated when travelling by train being directly across the road from Worthing Station. It is 15 minutes walk from the town centre and beach. The rooms have recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast menu is limited but the choice is good and the standard is excellent and cooked to order. I would recommend the full English.
