Manager lies, wouldn't cancel my booking 5 days in advance due to family bereavement and told me that it's booking.coms choice (it's not they confirmed this) Ignored my emails after I showed him what booking.com said

Excellent Hotel
Pros:

Everything was first class....comfortable room and bed, beautiful building, security, friendly staff. Excellent music playlist in the spacious pub. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Pros:

Location close the the train station and an easy walk down to the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was simple but ok. Comfy bed

Cons:

Two windows looking straight onto tiled roof. No choice of bread for breakfast, no cold milk to drink. Minor things but sour dough bread isn't for everyone.

Pros:

Really nicely done up and our room was great. Lovely and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay overnight.
