A localização, limpeza e conforto
Pequeno-almoço precisa de mais variedade para quem não é amante dos típicos english breakfast
The bathroom was very clean, carpets hovered, complimentary water bottles.
The bed sheets were disgusting, with hairs all over them. Despite being disabled, they placed us on the highest floor with no elevator, despite having to walk with a stick. When I went to complain about the bed sheets, staff seemed to be absent. Eventually we got hold of a hotel manager of whom said she was not free till 5:30 in the evening, so my wife and chose to go for a walk. We returned at 6pm to find the sheets still had not been changed despite being out for over an hour. Again I had to traverse the awkward corridor, designed only for short people (I'm 6ft1"). The corridor was simply exhausting. Eventually we got the sheets changed at 6:30pm.
On the second night we attempted to use the TV, only to find that many of the channel services were digitally locked, that meant no BBC, no Netflix, no Disney, and no amazon.

Cont. the hectic scene became more like a Basil Fawlty scene than a relaxed enjoyable evening at The George as the male front of house virtually ran from task to task to cope with the workload. Sadly our room pillows, room 105, were like solid blocks totally unsuitable for neck comfort and healthy flexion along with a mattress which was very hard with a badly fitting thin duvet. This led to a sleepless night sitting up on my part and very bad sleep for my husband, normally a good sleeper.
