A great little hotel with pleasant staff and good location.
Pros:

The style and light touches like the cakes as you walk in and the room doors all were different heights. Very well laid out interior, modern and comfortable.

Cons:

The beds were far too hard and there was an obvious cold breeze in the room, so heat had to be turn up to combat.

Stayed many times here and always a pleasure thank you
Pros:

The attention to detail and the accommodating staff…we arrived a little early and thought we would just chill in the cozy bar….but the staff went the extra mile to get us to our room…little things like that go along way!

Cons:

Absolutely nothing at all! It’s perfect to us!

Pros:

Very clean, nicely decorated, great staff (friendly and helpful), excellent food in the restaurant. Lot of space and well laid out bar, cafe and restaurant.

Cons:

Maybe slightly understaffed ? Internet in bedroom sporadic / didnt work.

Nice room comfy bed

Cons:

Restaurant claimed to be open until 9pm but told us they were closed at 8.30pm. Luckily a very nice Indian restaurant was just across the street.

Pros:

Lovely room, very spacious, we paid extra for an extra large bed as that is what we're used too, location was perfect for us and breakfast was good

Cons:

The pillows, very hard, I asked for them to be changed but that didn't happen, if I stay there again I will be taking my own pillow

George hotel Amesbury - well worth a stay
Pros:

The staff were extremely nice & helpful

Cons:

As it was a surprise trip for my wifes birthday and i had booked 4 rooms for my sons and grandchildren to stay, the cat was let out of the bag slightly as they had put the requested cot in our room not my sons family room (who were arriving slightly later). In hindsight i should of double checked this on the phone prior to arrival.
