The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful explaining because of the extreme outside temperatures the rooms were rather warm but they would do everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were supplied a fan in the room which was definitely needed overnight and unlimited bottled water was offered.
Our room was beautifully decorated but a window blind was missing which necessitated closing the curtains changing.
We received a friendly welcome at breakfast but the buffet food available was not explained. The staff didn't appear to refresh pastries or fruit bowl and there was no fresh fruit available. Our cooked breakfast took quite a long time to arrive and by the time we'd eaten our pot of tea was cold.

Ottimo albergo a Amesbury vicino a Stonehenge.
During heat wave there was no airco in the room so it was pretty hot. The restaurant is mediocre for dinner service but breakfast is pretty good.
Breakfast serving was slow.
Staff were first class and professional, they acknowledged they are an old building and did everything possible to make the building comfortable as possible. Couldn’t have asked for anymore. Plus the breakfast was super yummy.
It was hot but that isn’t their fault.
Very close to Stonehenge, we walked there in a 4h-hike, rather big hotel with space to sit outside, parking, wifi
Quite limited breakfast options (no smoked salmon, no porridge, latte comes at an extra fee), very hot rooms, we had two fans but they didn't do anything, a lot of noise from the street, no possibility to take a packed lunch for a hike

A lovely old building, well cared for, with well presented rooms. Little thoughtful touches helped.
Staying in a heatwave and an attic room meant that the room was unbearably hot. The hotel provided two fans, but even then the air was sluggish. Had to leave the room for cool outside air a few times.
Excellent throughout
Lovely inn.
The food.
The staff were excellent, we enjoyed our meals and drinks there. Nice little touches for welcoming our dog. We have stayed before so this was the first choice for looking for somewhere to stay.
Wutg it being hot outside that also caused the room to be very warm. We understand that thae age of the building doesn't allow for the likes of air conditioning so we took it in our stride, we asked for an extra fan which was supplied when one came available.
Just two nights, very hot rooms as no AC (historic building) but staff did their best with windows open and fans. Good food and wine. Excellent staff, all very helpful.
WiFi very poor - might be the area though
Prachtige kamer en pub
Lots of variety foods for each meal to choose from.
Staff were all lovely and friendly.
Room was and the hotel itself was very clean
Nothing to complain about.
