Great location for visiting many local attractions including Stonehenge and Salisbury cathedral.
Pros:

Good location in lovely town of Amesbury with plenty of parking available. Dined in for evening meal which was excellent.

Cons:

Rooms on top floor could do with air conditioning in the hot summers we’re now experiencing.

Second visit - not as good as before. Expensive food. A 14.00 bottle of wine in Majestic sold at 41.00. Simply too much

Great location

Small room / hard hard mattress

A great stay on your way to discovering the UK
Pros:

Beautiful Hotel highly recommend. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. We came from staying in overpriced Winchester and Padstow also in pub style accommodation and this was by far the most superior and best value for money. Huge room size, beautifully designed.
Will definitely stay here again in in this part of the country again.

Cons:

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Perfect for sleeping waiting the stones.
Pros:

Location was great, cleaning was perfect and stuff was very kind.

Cons:

Exception in stuff was during dinner. They are in trouble or uderstuffed but we must leave out as none is taking care of us for a long time. Suggestion ad an air condition system.

Great historical hotel
Pros:

Great staff, lovely hotel. I love it still has charm for an 800 year old building. Room was large, they accommodated the change I asked for with no complaints. Evening food is exceptional as is the breakfast.

Cons:

No complaints here.
