Stayed many times - always good - this time no exception... What was excellent this time was that due to Channel tunnel 2.5 hour delay we didn't arrive until 20.55 and were concerned we would miss supper - which would have been a real shame as the restaurant always has a good table. It was not a problem at all an d although hey said they only served until 21:00 they gave us time to relax, look at the menu properly and enjoy dinner... thank you.

Great restaurant and amazing views a across to the distant hills. Very quiet and safe parking. Ideal 30 minutes drive from Le Shuttle. Would definitely come again.

Well located, good food, quiet space but near main roads
It is ideally situated in a peaceful setting just off the A26 and 20 minutes from Calais. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and excellent value. All the staff were welcoming.

Clean and tidy throughout. Fantastic location and very dog friendly. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Restaurant has fantastic menu and atmosphere.
Not so clear about needing code for exiting hotel at night with dog. You can exit the main building, but you cannot get back in without a code. I was stuck outside for 2 hours. Apparently there is a code on the door in your room so make sure you take note of it!! 😆. The sign that is on the door on exiting which warns you of the code should perhaps be on a stand so you have to walk past it on exit as when the door opens automatically you cannot see the sign on the door...especially when you are half a sleep 😴. Just a warning to other guests 😀....probably just me and my luck.

Unfortunately when we visited the temperatures were in the high 30s the room is not air conditioned with a very small shower, also the view from the window is into the chalet opposites bathroom

Stayed in a large room in a little house with 4 suites. Dining room was good and the grounds were in good condition with lovely large Sequoias. Good location, except for finding a petrol station!! Overall, better than expected
We felt that the Maitre D was a little surly, but that may be just how he is. Service generally was good. Some people might not like having to climb stairs to get to the room, but I guess we could have asked in advance for a ground floor, had we known.
