Pros:

Staff were very welcoming, efficient and friendly.
Room was large, warm and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable with beautifully clean cotton sheets and pillow cases.
The bathroom was clean and spacious.
Wi-fi was consistent.
The location of the hotel is excellent - across from the railway station and the stop for the airport bus.

Cons:

The hotel offers ice and water replenishment service but they were not available in the new annex. (A small niggle, which would not stop us staying at the hotel again.)

The double bed was not really a double bed. 2 single beds pushed together with a big gap down the middle. I disappeared through the gap and my partner is still looking for me.

Our stay was short, but pleasant. When we return to Basel, I will highly consider going back here.
Pros:

The Hotel Schweizerhof is a nice hotel. The room is spacious, and the amenities that we needed were readily available. It was very close to the Hauptbahnhof, making the location convenient for us.

Cons:

There is nothing I dislike.

Pros:

Vriendelijk, zeer schoon, lekker bed, goede douche, goede locatie dichtbij station. Gym tegenover met gereduceerd tarief ook heel fijn. Loopt zo centrum in of met tram

Cons:

Ik zelf heb er geen last van gehad, maar trams zijn voor de deur. Oordoppen kun je in doen.

Ein Aufenthalt zum Verwöhnen!
Pros:

Das - mit 12 Uhr ohnehin sehr tolerante - Auschecken aus unserem Wunschzimmer, von dem aus man sehr gut die Straßenbahnen beobachten konnte, wurde auf unsere Anfrage ohne Probleme kostenlos noch um eine Stunde verlängert, weil unser Zug erst am frühen Nachmittag fuhr. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und lang genug für größere Menschen. Das Personal war unaufdringlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war außergewöhnlich gut und sehr reichhaltig. Zu meinem Geburtstag erhielt ich als Überraschung eine Glückwunschkarte und für uns zwei Freigetränke nach Wahl nebst Knabbersachen an der Bar. So konnten wir einmal Schweizer Wein aus dem Wallis probieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Ein Aufenthalt zum Verwöhnen!
