For the price that I paid I expected a better hotel.
Pros:

The only reason to stay at this hotel is its close location to the cruise shuttles area (Largo della Pace). It badly needs to be renovated

Great location to cruise stop. Walking distance downtown wasn't bad at all.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. My husband loved the coffee. I really enjoyed the juices. Definitely didn't leave hungry.

Perfectly located with friendly service, making our pre-cruise stay smooth and stress-free.

We chose Hotel Traghetto for its convenience before our cruise embarkation, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The location is incredibly convenient—just a couple of minutes from the port bus station that takes you directly to your cruise ship.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and understanding, especially when we arrived late due to train delays. They provided us with a port map and clear directions on how to catch the bus to the ship, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Our room was big, spacious, and clean, including the bathroom. We also enjoyed a huge balcony with a great view of the port, where you can see the cruise ships lined up.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay—highly recommended for anyone cruising out of Civitavecchia.

Thanks to the front desk man for all your help!
Pros:

I arrived at the hotel at 1am , my suitcase did not arrive and I was in tears on arrival, the front deck man was very empathetic and offered me advice on how to get back to the airport the next day ( I had already paid €130 from FCO taxi!) . He also allowed me to access a room for half an hour to get changed , once I returned late afternoon with my case.

The hotel itself is very basic and dated however the staff were great with me.

Perfect location for the cruise ship transfer bus ( which he also escorted me to , taking my case for me! )

Great value, excellent location if you're boarding a cruise.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast that was included was great. This was the closes hotel to the port which was super convenient.

Cons:

The shower was small, but good practice for the ship. :)

A super place to stay while waiting for your cruise to begin.
Pros:

The hotel, although old was wonderfully comfortable and well maintained. Our room was large compared to modern hotel rooms. We had a balcony overlooking the main downtown area of Civitavecchia. The continental breakfast served in the morning was great. The location was perfect for leaving on a cruise ship. The free shuttle is directly across the road and taxis are available if you wish a private ride to the Cruise Port. The front desk staff were wonderfully helpful in booking our taxi, and even lifting our luggage for us. There is the convenience of a lift although there are two small flights of stairs to go up before you access the lift. Bottled water was complementary in the room fridge.

Cons:

The very small shower stall could be upgraded as it is quite old.

Our stay was cozy and a great Italian experience.

Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This was our first time in Rome and we WILL be back to stay at Hotel Traghetto!
