reasonable value for money, central location, not a great room.
Pros:

friendly reception staff, clean room. Good location apart from many building works going on in Double Bay.

Cons:

air conditioner would not respond to most of the remote control buttons.
Building site close by across the lane, with noisy equipment - possibly dewatering pumps - running all night.

Just ok.
Pros:

Location good for local eateries. Edgecliff train station not too far away. Firm mattress.

Cons:

Cleanliness, large beetle (c r?) scuttling across bedside table when I awoke. Dim exterior outlook, coat hangers theft proof. Bathroom fan not working?

unacceptable
Pros:

nothing at all, it is unsafe for humans.

Cons:

Our room was filthy, bathroom had mould =on shower screen and tiles. The air conditioning vent smell was of mould, the lifts did not work on our level. I would like to make an official complaint as the room is not fit for human use.

Pretty bad honestly
Pros:

Location is great

Cons:

The opulence of the surrounding street makes this hotel look and feel even more drab. The whole place is old, dark, musty and covered in stains. I feel for anyone with accessibility needs because not only is the lift minuscule, but the floors themselves are a labyrinth of steps, sloped hallways, and uneven floors. The walls are thin enough to hear every person coming and going. The bathroom has mould and water damage. The bath/shower was so slippery I, a generally agile and able bodied person, genuinely feared for my safety. And on top of all that, after a long day out in the city, upon returning to the room, I find they’ve “tidied” the room and failed to replace any of the towels. Which forced me to go opening random doors in the hallways until I eventually found an (unlocked) linen closet. I couldn’t wait to leave this hotel.

Mosquitos in my room ruined my night.
Pros:

The location was good and room was fairly clean.

Cons:

The room was land locked opening onto an internal lounge area... despite this there were mosquitos in the room which made for a terrible night with very little sleep.

The night attendee was excellent, however management have been difficult to deal with around getting any type of compens
Pros:

The location was great

Cons:

We had bed bugs in our original room, and then were moved. Bed bugs were discovered in the new room we were placed. We were moved, again, only to have bed bugs there aswell. We have a 2 year old. And moving throughout the hotel in the middle of the night. We were very upset. There was no other option offered.

It's a good value of money especially when you just stay for a night to catch an early flight.
Pros:

Free parking.

Cons:

The alley are quite small. And beddings and other things was just put outside the laundry area.
