La Sommellerie

We stayed for three nights during our honeymoon and traveled with our disabled son — and we couldn’t have felt more cared for. Camille, Silvio, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. This is more than just a hotel — it truly feels like a home away from home.

The chef is incredible! Every evening we looked forward to discovering a new French dish, each one beautifully prepared and delicious. La Sommellerie is the epitome of French chic — elegant, welcoming, and kept to the highest standards.

We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return next year!

Nice location close to town, bucolic setting.
Room tight and bathroom outdated, no refrigerator in room which hampered our buying of quality wine.

Lovely hotel. Nice pool, located in a very nice location. Has a restaurant attached to it. Had dinner there, and the food was very good.
Friendly staff who speak English. Continental breakfast was on offer. You will need a car to get there. Nice and relaxing.
Only one little thing that could be improved, is the coffee machine. Not brilliant coffee.

Værelser små fx toiletbræt defekt ingen balkon eller køleskab. Restaurant lukket søndag mandag men alligevel ballade over at man så spiser medbragt mad på fællesarealet. Ligger fint tæt på Chateauneuf du pape men ingen glæde af at det ligger umiddelbart ved Rhone som er utilgængelig.

Beautiful French country house with a perfect pool! Lovely breakfast. Basic but nice rooms with much needed AC during the heat wave.
We read the restaurant was great, but it was unfortunately not open the days we were there.

Parfait et très sympathique, accueil très chaleureux. Endroit de choix pour Chateauneuf du Pape et ses environs.
Et que dire de la piscine avec un bon verre de blanc!:)

Séjour 1 nuit, bon hôtel, excellent restaurant

L'établissement est un hôtel de standing. Service impeccable, établissement parfaitement entretenu. Large chambre récente très bien aménagée avec lit confortable. Salle de bain propre. Le restaurant a une très belle carte, les plats étaient raffinés. L'hôtel est à quelques centaines de mètres de la voie verte Via Rhona. Parfait pour aller réaliser des balades le long du Rhône.

The proprietors were exceptionally nice, as well as their staff. An ideal place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights as part of a trip we took from southern Burgundy to Bandol. It's a beautiful property. The rooms were clean, quiet, plenty spacious The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner here one evening, and it was quite delicious. Weather wasn't right for sunbathing, but the pool area is quite pretty, and we enjoyed a glass of wine there. We had a car, but guests should know that this is NOT walking distance to the town, and I'm not sure how easy or practical it would be to get a taxi/uber. (I did not ask if the hotel provides transport.).

Lovelyy setting near Chateauneuf-du-pape New owners in process of redoing property. Our room small. Sadly no English tv channels. highlight was the delicious dinner in the onsite restaurant. A logis hotel. Easy onsite parking.
Breakfast pretty basic. no elevator so had to take luggage up a longer flight of stairs.

Nous avons séjournés une nuit a la sommelerie.
Chambre et accueil très bien .
Le plus étant le restaurant où nous avons très bien mangé et dégusté les vins de châteauneuf du pape.
La climatisation de la chambre est à revoir dans l'idéal.
Bonne maison avec de bons hôtes, nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Make sure to eat at the restaurant. It is first class

Très bon accueil, personnels très à l’écoute et sympathiques, excellent nourriture.

Really wonderful place near Chateauneuf du Pape. New owners are fabulous! Restaurant is excellent!! Has it all - pool, air conditioning, location, fabulous food and awesome owners. Highly recommend.
