Beware the broken pavement! Overall a bad experience
Pros:

Booked twin beds with EasyJet but when arrived 1am was told by very unhelpful and condescending boy on reception there weren’t any twins and argued that I didn’t book a twin until I showed him my booking. Had to accept a double bed and the next morning they made up the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable as it had a big gully down the middle. No offer of compensation at all.
Beware the broken pavement outside the hotel and no street lights! twisted my ankle and fell. so painful spend next day in bed and limped around the rest of the week, forced to eat in the overpriced restaurant and bar. Hotel reception staff disinterested and said the pavement and lighting was nothing to do with them. Turns out I had a fracture.
Nice enough hotel, very clean and friendly maid service, but is very secluded meaning you have to get a taxi or shuttle bus everywhere. The bus is independent of the hotel and there’s a charge. The beach looks bad and there were weeds growing in between the sun beds there. The pool is the best attraction with lots of palm trees. Bar staff are lovely and very kind but the restaurant staff appear stressed and run off their feet. There weren’t enough meat dishes on the buffet and very small amount that went too quickly. The fish was over cooked and dry but plenty choice of fruit, salads and cakes. Breakfast was good.

Honest, positive experience following some skeptical reviews!
Pros:

Me and my partner have just had a weeks stay at this resort and from reading the reviews I was skeptical but I can honestly say it’s one of the best places we have stayed.
The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The pool area is perfect for lounging around, also offering activities such as water gym at a couple of points through the day. The evening also offers entertainment at the pool bar, doing quizzes for all nationalities and live music.
We came towards the end of the season and these activities were still offered, as well as air con still being on in the rooms despite what is stated on the information. The staff are attentive and friendly, some of whom you can tell really love their job.
There is an onsite mini mart where you can purchase items such as cigarettes, suncream, beach wear and bags.
We were all inclusive and originally found lunch a little confusing due to it being a sit down meal type, with menus and prices requiring us to ask reception to re-explain the rules around this. Breakfast and Dinner are buffet style as you’d expect at an all inclusive resort. On the contrary of what others have said, we found the food to be lovely and varied each day, with healthy salad and veg available as well as pizzas, pastas and meats. If you are ordering drinks during meals, these will cost (other than water) but drinks at the bars are free when using the all inclusive menu. When ordering anything at any part of the hotel, you will be asked your room number but asked to sign the receipt if anything has to be paid for, to be paid for at the end of the stay. We were given an extra card for the bills to be added to but we didn’t use this or were asked for this at any point and still don’t really understand the use of this.
The resort is however very isolated and it is a long journey to any excursions and a long journey too and from the airport (approx 2.5 hours). We did 2 days of excursions which were 7am pick ups and 7pm drop offs so be prepared for long days of travelling on coaches but worth it if you’re here for exploring and relaxing.
All in all it has been a beautiful stay and haven’t encountered any off putting experiences whilst here and definitely would stay here again. We don’t normally leave reviews when we stay anywhere but from reading some of them before coming, thought we would leave an honest, positive review.

Beautiful hotel and grounds
Pros:

Positives - hotel, grounds, staff, pool, pool entertainment, excursion planning, booking car, beach is nearby ( wear beach shoes as it’s pebbly), free to use sun loungers at beach and poolside, rooms are spotless, brought kettle to our room at our request, good free WiFi, poolside is spotless, good storage for luggage if leaving after check out

Negatives- isolated so you need to hire a car to get anywhere, no shops nearby so you can’t buy extra drinks or snacks, the food - limited in variety and choice, often only warm, drinks are expensive if you’re on half-board, you have to purchase water at dinner, no tea / coffee facilities in the room, you need to ask for a kettle, water should be freely available at all locations in hotel/poolside,

Pros:

Beautiful grounds and pool. Beach disappointing, but quiet. Music every evening went on too late, near hotel rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffets excellent, but very difficult to get to anywhere else to dine as shuttle returned to hotel at 6pm. Hire car would be useful, but not essential as there are trains and taxis available.

Lovely holiday
Pros:

Just returned from a a lovely stay at this hotel, the grounds and pool area are beautiful. The pool is large with plenty of sun beds. The spa is amazing with great views from the terrace which has a fabulous pool. I have noticed one or two reviewers complaining about unfriendly staff but I must say every member of staff we had any contact with were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially the waitresses in the bar who after a couple of evenings remembered our drinks before we placed our order. The location is very remote with no shops or bars within walking distance however there is a shuttle bus daily to Cefalu which costs €10 return.

Good but not great
Pros:

Beautiful, cozy, clean hotel with excellent staff. Quiet and peaceful however its location is a let down. Very isolated. Get a car or go all inclusive otherwise it will be too expensive for a buffet! Entertainment was a tad dated and somehow boring at the bar. Pool bar was much more livelier. Beach is clean, bring a swimming shoes as it pebbles. No bars or restaurants within walking distance. Shuttle service is not part of the hotel, is chargeable, and not frequent. (Not convenient if you want to go out and explore) Taxi service to Cefalu costs £35 euros! (One way and up to 4 people) And should be booked in advance but very organised and reliable.
Pool was great. Generally speaking if you want to go all inclusive, not interested to go out and explore and stay put then it’s perfect. But then you’ll miss out on Cefalu, Palermo and other exciting places.

See, cuisine, birds and misunderstanding
Pros:

Stay at Acacia Resort Campofelice di Roccella (Cefalù)

I chose this hotel mainly for its beach and sea access – and while I wasn’t completely disappointed, the strong winds during my stay made swimming in the sea less enjoyable than I had hoped. That said, one of the resort’s biggest strengths is its lush greenery – vibrant, exotic, and truly impressive. Although in some areas it could use a bit more care, it definitely adds charm to the overall atmosphere.

The hotel is located quite far from everything, which makes it ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. However, anyone hoping to go for a pleasant walk outside the resort might find the surroundings a bit underwhelming.

The food was absolutely fantastic – varied, fresh, and full of flavor – and the restaurant staff were kind and attentive. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups. At check-in, the receptionist twice confirmed that I was on an all-inclusive package and gave me the appropriate wristband, despite my assurances that my booking was half board. I was sent off to wait for my room somewhere on the resort grounds, but shortly afterward, the same staff member began looking for me rather nervously and changed his story. It seemed to me that simply leaving things as they were would have been a more gracious and professional approach.

This stay was an extension of a tour, so I wasn’t able to choose the type of room in advance. Unfortunately, I ended up in a pavilion right next to the service area and waste containers. While the surroundings were green and there was a terrace, I couldn’t enjoy it at all due to the large number of birds and the mess they left behind. Even when cleaned once a day – which wasn’t always the case – the terrace would become dirty again within half an hour. I honestly believe this particular room should not be rented out until the issue is resolved.

All in all, the resort does have a lot to offer – especially if you’re looking for relaxation, good food, and natural beauty. However, it’s important to consider your expectations carefully and, if possible, clarify room details with the hotel or your travel agency before arrival.

Awesome 4-star resort experience
Pros:

Wonderful resort, with everything you could expect of a 4-star resort in Europe. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable bed.

Guests are mainly locals, so not too touristy.

The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner buffets, with plenty of options of tasty (both local and international) variations of food.

The pool is huge, with both a child friendly part with shallow water, and a part with deeper water, great for swimming etc.

Staff is very friendly, polite and makes sure the guests are having a good time.

The resort is located 20mins drive from Cefalù, but there is no public transport, so expect to spend some money on transport/taxi if you want to visit the beautiful city of Cefalù.
Price for the taxi is 35€ one way, if you book with the Hotel. Local taxis charge 50€ or more.

We will definitely be back.

Pros:

Where do I start. The hotel is a nice hotel, the grounds surrounding it, really nice, and the restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. Thats the good points. As soon as we arrived in the hotel reception someone who seemed to be a manager was straight onto us to pay for a so called club card, when asked why, he told us it was for use of the pool. sunbeds, entertainment, use of beach, lifeguards and a few other things, we told him these are all included in the booking price. He then told us there is a tax charge which is normal, but 5euros per night, (we booked for 14 nights) so 70 euros to find out later this was for the club card, so he lied to us on that point, he also asked for us to leave our credit card behind the desk to make sure we pay at the end, his words not mine. We were shown to our room which supposed to have a sea view, there was so much trees blocking the view you just couldn't see anything, the toilet was also dirty and so was the fridge so we asked for another room, which they provided. The beach is absolutely disgraceful. The hotel is so far from any place, 7min taxi ride to a tiny village with hardly any shops etc there at a cost of 20 euros. The next place is a 20min taxi ride away, another 20euro. You will definitely need a hire car. we had no option to upgrade to all inclusive at 2016 euros for 12 nights. The food is not Italian and its so repetitive. and is not very nice, ok if you like pastries, cake, and other rubbish, if you want to eat healthy your in the wrong hotel. Being all inclusive its restricted to certain items. You can have still water but fizzy water you have to pay 3-50 euros for, no drinks after 11-0 clock at night, you have to pay. You can only order a glass of wine etc at a time which is so small they will not allow a bottle. If you want to go and have an early night on your room balcony you will have no chance until after 11-00 o clock, the noise from the entertainment is so loud and its not in any particular room, its in the open and the same in the afternoon, from the pool the music is blasting out. also it was supposed to be a deluxe room, no kettle which I never come across before at a supposedly 4star hotel plus the morning welcome of ants in the bathroom (every morning ) I could go on about this hotel, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, I would refuse to go there if they offered it for free. I have lots of videos but he site will not allow me to upload them, they are videos of the food, ants in the bathroom, the noise etc.

Pros:

Helt ok hotel. Fin frokost - middag også men ikke wow, forskjellig utvalg men kjedelige smaker. En må jo kjøpe alt, ingen butikker i nærheten. Ved innsjekk blir en belastet for solsenger, minigolf, strandhånkle.
Dyrt me taxi og ca 40 min til nærmeste by.

Wonderful
Pros:

We stayed here for a week and went half board (breakfast and evening meal).
The hotel was lovely, open to the outside in most of the common areas. So many plants around the hotel which really gave it the holiday feel.
The food was also very good. Breakfast didn't vary too much, other than the local specialities (cakes). The evening meal however did vary and had live cooking of pizzas, pasta and various meats and fish. The desserts were also good with fruit and local cakes. Ice cream was also available to scoop, which we took down to the beach each evening!
The room was great, 3rd floor, having a garden view and was quiet. Music was heard in the evenings, but didn't bother us and it didn't go on too late. We also rarely heard people heading back to their rooms (which we worried about being close to the lifts). Air-con in the room was great!
The beach and pool were lovely. The pool had shallow and deep areas.
Beach was quite stoney.
Evening entertainment varied and occurred in two locations each evening.

Some additional costs to be mindful of...
Room safe €2 per day
Beach towel €3 per towel (if washed, another €3) - we brought our own
Water at evening meal was not complementary which was a shame and strange as they had free water at breakfast.

Drinks were a reasonable price for a resort. Cocktails ranged from €12 - €15. Coke €4.

2 Aldi sided supermarkets were a 5 minute drive up the road.
Gym was lacking and not great.

Overall the hotel was wonderful and well kept and all the staff were really friendly and attentive. English was well spoken amongst the team.

Pros:

Remote tropical & Italian stay
Pros:

+
Amazing pool
Friendly staff
Lovely green garden
Our own private terrace (economy terrace room)
Good breakfast

-
Loud and repetative evening entertainment
Not the most beautiful beach/clear seawater
NEED your own rental car
Expensive prices

We had a lovely time, but next time we'll go for a place that's located more near a town/restaurants/shops.

Not for me
Pros:

After spending a week at the Acacia I am very mixed minded!! The bar and restaurant staff are very good and friendly. All inclusive (not really) sit down meals are included but not a small bite to eat like pizza or a sandwich(strange) also you need to pay for bottled water at the bars all you need in 30 degrees
The biggest problem for me is that the staff’s kids running around jumping in and out of the pool all day funny to start with but why should you put up with that

not really all inclusive, many weird ways, remore, friendly staff
Pros:

This is Italian faulty towers with friendly staff
all-inclusive isn't; there are so many weird exceptions; you can't have fizzy water, and they won't turn the air con on until JUNE; regardless of how hot it gets, you can have a 4-course lunch but not a sandwich, it's remote not near anything.

even if you arrive at 02:00 nobody can drive to the front gate.
