Amazing family trip in the mountains for 4 days!
Pros:

Most amazing location of Madeira! In the middle of the mountains! Calm, nice place. Cool pool and jacuzzi. Resto and snack bar almost always open. Spacious family room and huge balcony. Nice staff.

Cons:

I was personally afraid of the last piece of road to and from the hotel but experienced drivers shouldn’t be afraid.
The sauna and hammam cost 10 euros unfortunately and i think they are never in use ;) but for the rest all was fine, even the “pricey” restaurant.

Un hôtel parfait pour la vue mais les allers retours en montagne restent fatigants

Emplacement avec une vue magnifique

Manquait des produits sanitaires ( shampooing le distributeur toujours vide malgré nos demandes)

Heerlijk ontspannen!
Pros:

De locatie is fantastisch. Het zwembad en whirlpool met veel ligstoelen kijkt uit op de valei. Puur genieten dus. Verder ruime kamer voor vier personen (met schuifdeur en royaal balkon). Fijne bedden, fijne kussens en zachte handdoeken (en nog extra strandlakens voor bij het zwembad) Ontbijt prima, vers fruit, geroosterd brood, full English breakfast etc. Het diner zou beter kunnen, maar veel keuze, interessante wijnkaart en de keuken is tot 2100 open (dat is later dan in het dorpje). Wandeling naar het dorpje (leuk en goed restaurantje vlakbij het eindpunt naibers als je eens iets anders wil eten op Madeira) start naast het hotel en ook de korte wandeling naar het uitzichtpunt start bij het hotel. En dan nog het personeel, dat is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze legden ons echt in de watten. Bij het ontbijt werd bijvoorbeeld gevraagd of we nog iets wenste, het ontbijt was al bijna afgelopen maar ik had toch nog wel zin in nog meer verse ananas. Er werd gewoon een hele schaal met schijven ananas gemaakt. Er zit ook nog een soort snackbar annex souvenierswinkeltje. Schepijs was verrukkelijk!

Avis mitigé
Pros:

L'emplacement est stratégique et la vue est exceptionnelle.
Large parking devant l'hôtel, pratique et facile.
La piscine, quoi qu’originale avec sa couleur rouge est agréable.
Le restaurant le soir est en revanche assez agréable et me semble sous côté.

Cons:

L’hôtel est vieillissant et ne mérite à mon sens pas/plus ses 4 étoiles, pour plusieurs raisons ;
L’absence de climatisation dans les chambres tout d’abord, rend un passage ici l’été vraiment inconfortable la nuit.
Le petit-déjeuner affiche un niveau affligeant tellement il est lamentable ; nourriture industrielle, de piètre qualité qui n’est pas digne d’un tel établissement.
Les TV sont « verrouillées » empêchant le client d’utiliser son Netflix, Amazon ou autre.
Dans l’angle du rapport qualité prix, je ne m’y suis pas retrouvé comparativement à d’autres établissements de Madère. J’en reviens donc déçu.

Location is what you pay for. It is exceptional. Views are amazing.

Cons:

Hotel is a bit dated. It was spotlessly clean. Food was okay. The pool area could have some plants and greenery to make it more welcoming. The view from the pool is amazing.

Wenn das Frühstück gut gewesen wäre, wären es 10 von 10 Punkten gewesen.
Pros:

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist toll, das Zimmer (wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen) super schön und sauber.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war wirklich gar nicht gut, der Kaffee an der Grenze zu nicht genießbar.

Le personnel est très agréable

Koselig plass på toppen av verden. Hotellet trenger en oppussing da alt er gammelt, men koselig og god mat

Cons:

Frokosten kunne vart bedre. Og vi fikk en ødelagt toalettring. .
