Uncomfortable
Pros:

Location was great, right in the square beside the train station and lots of restaurants and bars

Good selection for breakfast

Cons:

No air on in the room and the heat was unbearable when it was 25 degrees outside and afternoon sun coming in the window. We had a fan but it wasn’t enough and it was so uncomfortable. It was cooler outside the room was just a sweat box.

No elevator and a small staircase we were in the 3rd floor with heavy luggage (got hotter the higher you went up.

Someone from the hotel just let themselves into our room around 4pm without knocking while we were resting

The restaurant attached was very expensive compared to other places in the square for the same dishes and drinks

We stayed a night that Belgium were in the World Cup and it’s right above a sports bar so it was very noisy until 3am even with earplugs and then bottles started being cleared at 6am waking us again so that coupled with the heat made for a very unsettled night

Ein super Ausgangspunkt für einen perfekten Städtetrip
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar zentral direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs;
mithilfe der Schlüsselkarte hat man rund um die Uhr Zugang zum Hotel.
Das Zimmer war klein, aber gemütlich und sauber und man hat (jedenfalls bei unserem Zimmer) einen großartigen Blick auf den schönen Vorplatz.
Frühstück war für 2 Tage völlig ausreichend- es war für jeden Geschmack etwas da und man konnte wählen, ob man drinnen oder draußen sitzen will.

Locatie ivm pendelbussen rock werchter.

Cons:

Erg warm, geen airco. Ontbijt vond ik wat beperkt en elke dag hetzelfde. Zou iets extra bij kunnen zoals krentenbrood, crackers, hagelslag, pindakaas, meer soorten vleeswaren, smeersels etc.

Pas d'air conditionné, vu les étés que l'on connaît actuellement, c'est un point négatif. La chambre était un vrai four...
L'hôtel n'est pas de première jeunesse, il mériterait un peu coup de frais.

Perfecte locatie, parkeren kan direct onder het hotel, erg vriendelijk personeel
Kamers zijn ruim.

Cons:

Er mag wel het een en ander gemoderniseerd worden.
Tip; begin met de vloerbedekking in de hallen

Tip voor toekomstige bezoekers; De hotelkamers hebben geen airco*, alleen een ventilator.
*staat ook gewoon aangegeven in de boeking dus in principe kun je dit weten.

Lovely hotel…
Pros:

Lovely rooms and bathroom and very clean, and a beautiful art deco breakfast room. Breakfast v nice and hotel located right next to station. Check in is not 24 hr but as I was delayed on Eurostar the team kindly left a key for me in the key safe.

Cons:

No aircon! Not a problem usually but I stayed during the 37c heatwave!! However, a fan and large windows in the room. Very nice bathroom. Had to ask for hairdryer but it was quickly provided. No tea tray but iced water in the fridge 😁
