Hotell/restaurang väl värt ett återbesök
Pros:

Bra rum i ett härligt gammalt hus. Läget utmärkt mitt i Bourgogne för att besöka vingårdar. Restaurangen erbjuder mycket god mat och bra viner äver på glad

Fyldt med charme og atmosfære
Pros:

Et lille hotel fyldt med charme og dejlig atmosfære. Meget komfortabelt værelse, der er smagfuldt indrettet. Værtinden er super imødekommende, personlig og professionel på samme tid. Hun er i høj grad med til at give stedet dets helt særlige esprit.
Restauranten er fuldstændig enestående. “Babettes Gæstebud” værdigt. Vi besøgte Val d’Or for 3 gang og glæder os allerede til næste gang.

Convenient stay on the GR76 track.
Pros:

Hotel is located directly on the GR76 track, so easy to find.

Cons:

The building is old, and there are many steps and small stairs inside which make moving around a bit tricky, one should be really careful. Sound isolation is poor, I had a family with some small kids next door and they woke me on time in the morning....
Restaurant does not provide veggie options, they arrange that by removing anything meaty or fishy - that can be done better, we're in 2025, wake up! No decaf coffee either.
