Great location, fabulous Food extremely helpful staff
Pros:

Fabulous , great location , close to town , staff amazingly helpful. They had lots of food and drink for you to help yourself at all times lovely appointed rooms., staff couldn’t have been more helpful with advice on transport restaurants and everything you need to know about Cape Town

Gut gelegen, schick, komfortabel und gutes Personal.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut und sicher. Mit dem Uber kommt man vom Hotel schnell und günstig überall hin. Auch zu Fuss kann man schnell zur Kloof Street gelangen. Von unserem Zimmer aus haben wir sogar auf den Tafelberg gesehen.
Die Reception ist sehr schön, stylisch eingerichtet und bietet viele Verpflegungs- und Getränkemöglichkeiten. Man kann hier gut verweilen und mit anderen Gästen schwatzen oder etwas arbeiten, lesen etc. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und unterstützt einen beim organisieren der individuellen Ausflüge. Für uns hat man einen guten Tages-Driver organisiert, der uns mit diversen Zwischenstationen bis zum Kap der guten Hoffnung und zurück führte.
Das Frühstück war einwandfrei und bot eine gute Auswahl. Warme Gerichte wurden auf Bestellung gekocht.
Da unser Flug erst am Abend ging, durften wir sogar am Nachmittag ohne Aufpreis ein freies Zimmer benutzen um uns etwas aufzufrischen. Vielen Dank hierfür und danke für alle anderen Annehmlichkeiten.

Cons:

Das Bett hatte ein Heizkissen, das am Abend auf's Maximum eingestellt war und uns zum schwitzen brachte. Es war sicher gut gemeint, aber wir fanden die Handbedienung lange nicht.
Im Garten, Pool, Jacuzzi oder in der Nachbarschaft gab es ein Gerät, das die ganze Nacht über ein etwas nerviges Geräusch erzeugte.

I LOVE this Botique hotel!! I will definitely stay there the next time I’m in Cape Town.
Pros:

The Derwent House was wonderful. The staff is incredibly helpful, nice and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you want and need. The beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent for restaurants, shops and close to Table Mountain and the Botanical Garden.

Pros:

Confort, décoration originale, colorée et de très bon goût, qualité et variété du petit déjeuner, qualité du service, conseils nombreux sur les sites et choses à faire, attention du personnel.

Cons:

1 seule place de parking mais nous en avons profité

Fab find! a lovely stay - great location & friendly staff
Pros:

Great location, so easy to get around, close to main streets. Had fab views of Table Mountain from the lovely peaceful garden. Loved the decor. Had very helpful friendly staff who couldn’t do more for us, so accommodating, a lovely stay & if we return to SA would definitely stay again!

Pros:

Wir hatten ein sehr hübsch gestaltetes Zimmer. Der gesamte Service vom Empfang bis zur Abreise war absolut top und alle Mitarbeiter*innen mit Freude bei der Arbeit. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Besuch. Reichhaltiges Frühstück, am Nachmittag hausgemachtes Gebäck und zum Abend Sherry auf Kosten des Hauses. Auf dem Kopfkissen dann noch eine Praline als Betthupferl. Super Wein-Angebot zu bescheidenen Preisen.

Sehr charmantes Hotel mit liebevollen Details und tollen Menschen,
Pros:

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Derwent House und mindestens genauso begeistert wie vor vier Jahren. Unverändert stilvoll, gemütlich, leckeres Frühstück und sehr, sehr herzliche Menschen. Außerdem ist die Lage toll, mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!
