Pros:

Well-located hotel. Comfortable bedding. It accepts pets and prepares a bed for them, which is nice.

Cons:

Room directly facing the hotel lobby with extremely noisy staff. Outdated room that would benefit from refurbishment.

Housekeeping services were very odd - we’d be out all day and they wouldn’t have passed through. And then knock on the door at 8:45/9 PM.

The construction outside our windows, noise and dust.
No one mentioned this was happening.
Parking was so far from the apartment and had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

The stay could have been better if the unit was cleaned properly and did not have strands of hair in places

Our particular was not throughly clean. There was hair in the bath, in the bed and pillow.

Fantastic start to our vacation.
Pros:

Beautiful setting just outside of town. The grounds are very well kept and staff is very friendly.

Cons:

The pool wasn’t heated but that is about the only thing to say something about. I don’t think any pools are heated in Cape Town area.
