Gutes zentral gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

Gutes, zentral gelegenes Hotel in Istanbul.

Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Das Zimmer war allerdings etwas klein und bot bei einem längeren Aufenthalt nur wenig Ablage- bzw. Stauraum für Kleidung. Das Mobiliar ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen und zeigt leichte Gebrauchsspuren.

Die Matratze könnte komfortabler sein, da sie etwas durchgelegen wirkt. WLAN und TV funktionierten einwandfrei, zudem gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Sendern.

Es gabt täglich Wasserflachen und einen Kaffeeautomaten.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Zimmer insgesamt sehr ruhig war und sich gut abdunkeln ließ. Das Fenster schließt jedoch nicht vollständig wind- und geräuschdämmend.

Das Frühstück wird in Buffetform angeboten, ist großzügig und völlig ausreichend. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das sehr nette und hilfsbereite Personal, das den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet hat.

Cons:

Es gibt etwas wenig Stauraum, Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen, Schlafqualität könnte besser wenn angenehmere Matratze.

Ein NoGo für eine internationale Kette sind die Plastikbecher im Zimmer. Der Gedanke an Umweltbewusstsein sollte verstärkt werden.

Cons:

Das Fitnessstudio hat nur sehr wenige Geräte. Die Möbel sind etwas verbraucht.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is well located, clean, and very comfortable, making it a great base for exploring the city. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming.

A special shoutout goes to Serpil from Room Service, who truly made our stay exceptional. She provided consistently excellent service, was incredibly kind, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Her professionalism and warm attitude really stood out and made us feel genuinely well looked after.

Overall, a fantastic experience — we would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Old Town with easy access to trams, major attractions, shopping areas, and historic sites. It made sightseeing effortless and saved so much time getting around the city.
The hotel has a warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we entered, we felt comfortable and well looked after. It balances elegance with a homely feel, which is especially nice when travelling with family.
The rooms were spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. The beds were excellent, the layout was practical for a family stay, and everything was well thought out. We had a very restful and enjoyable stay.
Outstanding value for money considering the prime location, room quality, and level of service. You truly get a premium experience without feeling overpriced.
