Door code didn't work so I called Sam. Sam reset the code and stayed on the phone until we tested and it opened.

No one was there to checked in.

The place was situated in a quiet part of town away from the main streets but close enough to everything from restaurants and the lake.

1. Check-in time is unreasonable, 4:00 PM is absurd
2. Clearly not the place for you if you like to have a great sleep, there are no blackout curtains.
3. I asked for cutlery to eat food and they asked me to get it from some nearby restaurant
4. No air conditioner at the place, it was heating during my visit

Amazing hotel, comfy room, welcoming environment, fun facilities

Shower water kept changing during shower from luke warm to cold. while sink water stayed hot.
Bed was hard as a rock.
Floor was dusty.
Towel rack unusable not attached to wall.
Sawing and hammering started 8:30 am next to our room #1. was told workers won't get there until 9am.

It seems the motel was recently acquired from remote owners. The room we stayed in was not good at all. Most modern motels have AC so you expect it. This motel only has small AC units in the upstairs units. Our room was hot, sink did not drain, the cheap fans they give you are loud. They leave the lights on all night and the shades are trash so you have light in your room all night. I would avoid. Ballys has great rooms.

Automated booking and check in was easy enough, but there was no obvious indication that the room booked was a handicapped friendly room, meaning no tub.

Other than that, everything was great! Clean, tidy, nice location. Would do again.

Mattress too soft, pillow too firm, no AC, really hard to rest well.

Nice basic hotel conveniently located. Easy walk to Ski Run Marina, shopping, nearby restaurants. Room and property were clean.

A “motel-6”-class hotel for $360/night.
Very old property, small room, old unmatched furniture/decor. No front desk to speak of - you have to upload a photo of your ID to their website by taking a photo ahead of time and wait for them to send you a code to your room. Didn’t do it ahead of time? Do this from your car when you arrive and wait for email with further instructions.

all the furniture and decor don’t match and look like they are out of a thrift store - we had a broken piano stool in our room with broken yellow(!) upholstery. Plugs are falling out from the outlets, toilet has very poor flow and half the time doesn’t flush, but staff provided a large plunger that is sitting right there so you can help yourself and unclog it every time you use it.

For this price level we expected a lot more.

Communication was excellent. They accommodate an early check in for a reasonable price. Clean and close to everything.

The TV remote didn’t work. Called and was told someone would swing by. No one came. There was no one on site. There was only 2 paper coffee cups, no replenishment for our entire stay. 2 adults, 2 night stay. Rooms were ok. Area was very good, convenient.

Location is great, right on ski run blvd walking distance to lake and restaurants, free parking, ease of communication with staff over text with quick response, comfortable and clean room.

Great location, close to shopping, dining, casinos but just far enough away for a quiet, in nature feel.

Didn’t like I could not get a hold of anyone no front office

Dirty rooms , shower curtain has mold on unit 10. Unit. 19 sheets were dirty. Outside was dirty and nobody was in the office. Only a gentleman names manny calls you. I never stayed here and was not able to reach the manager they just told me he is on vacation . I’m awaiting my refund since I never stayed here and still no answer.
