Categories

Cleanliness
8.5
Rooms and property described as clean and comfortable in multiple reviews; one mention that the pool wasn’t very clean which slightly lowers the score.
Service
8.5
Numerous comments praise front desk and staff as friendly, helpful and accommodating; isolated complaint about an unreturned call/receipt issue reduces the score slightly.
Location
8.5
Location repeatedly called convenient and close to places of interest; however several guests noted proximity to train tracks and occasional horn noise.
Room Quality
8.5
Rooms reported as clean and comfortable; some issues noted such as limited towels and lack of hand soap in at least one stay.
Amenities
7
Breakfast is commonly available and generally praised, but guests report limited variety at times, pool cleanliness issue, and missing in-room amenities (towels/soap).
Value for Money
7
Several positive remarks about the stay but at least one explicit comment about price and overall value that lowers the rating to moderate.
Food and Beverage
8.2
Breakfast frequently described as very good with a reasonable variety (waffles, eggs, sausage, grits/oatmeal), though a few guests wanted more options or had dietary limitations (no pork).
Overall Experience
7
Many guests called the stay excellent, wonderful, and would return—positive staff, cleanliness and breakfast—offset by train noise, a pool issue, and occasional service hiccups.

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the locatio
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and included waffles, sausage, eggs, with grits one day and oatmeal the next. The location was east to access. Would stay there again when in the area.

Cons:

It is near the train tracks, which was unexpected. We were able to hear the train horn while in the room, but it didn't disturb our sleep.
