Pros:

Friendly enough but minimalist service. Room was fine but had only the bare necessities. As a stopover, it was fine.

Pros:

Première nuit difficile, chambre mal aérée, la Clim trop vielle trop faible, odeur de renfermé, matelas et oreillers trop dures. Deuxième nuit changement de chambre, sans Clim mais en rez-de-chaussée avec une bonne aération. Restaient le matelas et oreillers mais la nuit fut assez bonne.

Very tired small hotel, although it appeared the hotel was not
Busy, we were put in a dark ground room next to kitchen at the back of the hotel, our window opened on to a courtyard where the staff were smoking, so couldn't open our window, the bedding smelt of smoke. We had 3 part almost empty toilet rolls, and grey towels (white)

A genuinely friendly and welcoming hotel.
Pros:

I can't recommend this hotel enough, the owner made us feel genuinely welcome and was extremely helpful both in recommending places to eat out in the immediate area and giving a bit of history of the local area. He also very kindly gave us a lift the following morning which was extremely helpful and went way beyond what was expected. The breakfast was also very good and my wife and I both enjoyed his homemade melon jam with our croissants.
