Nice, affordable hotel in the center of Lviv
Pros:

Friendly reception. Hotel still really breaths the Soviet style, but is in a relatively good condition. So quite interesting. Good bed, shower and clean room. So no problem there. We were traveling with a dog and although their policy is to not allow big dogs, they didn’t make a problem for our medium sized Aussie. Parking was free and also no extra charge for the dog. Only remark would be that they don’t have airco and we were staying there in the middle of a heatwave. While booking, I didn’t check to see if they had airco, so completely my own fault.

Pros:

I love the George. I always stay here in L'viv, which is often. It's a little tired in some of its features, but man does it have charm and grace. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff is friendly and gracious. There are higher-end places and cheaper places, but for the location and all the positives that come with the grand George Hotel, there's no better place to stay for my money.

Great option for Lviv center stay.
Pros:

Excellent location and great classic property. Very good breakfast with great service. We will recommend using restaurant for high quality dinner at reasonable prices !
Will return if back to Lviv.

The hotel has incredible historical charm and no doubt was a very prestigious hotel in the early 20th century. The location is also very ideal and one can easily walk and explore many key sites of Lviv.

Great Hotel! Very old building, with high ceilings, huge rooms, wooden doors and windows.
Although it’s age, it is well keeped, has everything you might need.
The room was huge, with bathtub ( took few minutes to have really hot water), was warm and quite.
The service was excellent!
The doorman, the receptionist and the waitress at the dining room - everyone tried their best!
