This hotel is the perfect example of what it is not as being portrayed as! Photos look great, this place is a dump! Very dirty, spiders everywhere are hotel bed sheets still had hair from the previous guests take a look at the tub in the photo! Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. We paid for 3 nights and left after the first one. Area was very sketchy, did not feel safe at all. I highly recommending saying somewhere else.

My stay was awesome, i wish there was better parking availability.

Stayed 2 nights. The staffs were so kind and gave some advices to travel around Ooty town. They can provide a Day-tour for sightseeing in Ooty area. The most I liked was available to use hot shower in the room 24 hrs. In order to be cooler climate in Ooty, tourists may meet unexpected shower rain or chilling in moisture. In morning, the current/electoric was cut no power during a few hours, which was only inconvenient.

We hebben ons verblijf als prettig ervaren. Het geheel was keurig en netjes verzorgd. De beheerder als het personeel heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ook al de maaltijden smaakten voortreffelijk! Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar netheid en daarom verkies ik volgend jaar weer dit hotel.

Een mooi en schoon hotel met proffesioneel en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is niet erg groot en we misten een balkonnetje en uitzicht, we hadden een kamer onder in. Hou er rekening mee dat het warme water om te douchen aan het eind van de dag vaak op is.
Goed restaurant in het hotel met heerlijk eten en prettige bediening.
We bevelen dit hotel zeker aan als je van rust houdt, een schoon en goed hotel wilt en niet op zoek bent naar veel luxe.

I have gone to ooty recently. I have stayed in this hotel. The rooms are well maintained & the hotel staff was very co-operative. Only one thing I recommend that it has a very average restaurant. Even they are providing the breakfast as a complimentary but they are not changing the menu's of the breakfast. What I would suggest that they it add some new items to the breakfast menu (include non-veg also for eg: egg omelete,etc). Also I felt that the hotel kichen staff have less experience in preparing north indian dishes. Balance all good. Good to stay there except for the food.

NICE AND COMFORTABLE STAY. WALKABLE DISTANCE TO BOTONICAL GARDEN. BREAKFAST GOOD. BIG AND COMFORTABLE BED. BEST PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY OR FOR HONEYMOON COUPLE. GYM AND PLAY STATION AVAILABLE.

Its a good hotel, situated in a good location with efficient staff. Though not a five star hotel its run professionally. Breakfast is excellent and other meals are also good. I would like to stay here again.

this hotel was booked because it offered twin beds, however on arrival we were told only double beds were available and nothing could be done to change this. as we were two 40yr old males travelling together this was far from ideal. the hotel manager was not at all interested in resolving the issue, it was like it or lump it

Ponmari Residencyy is located in the prime location of OOTY and easily accessible to all the neary by places. This hotel offers good option to stay at OOTY at affordable rates. Will stay in the same hotel, if i visit OOTY again.

A beautiflu place and very good service. Rooms are nice

Hotel rooms maintenance is very good, looking very neat. We are staying there in Decemeber'11 month. Rooms are very neat but hotel service and food is not good.

Good hotel and good food, very good location.
Suggestion: Provide warm blankets as it is very cold.
