Pros:

Very clean and spacious room with all the amenities. Comfy bed and almost perfect climate control

Unfortunately for foreigners, it’s a little out of the way from the city highlights . Word of warning make sure the cab drivers reset the meters on pick up , my cabbie was a scammer. That was the only disappointment of the whole trip .

Saixiang Hotel is well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and convenient for our purpose. But we love Saixiang first and foremost because of the wonderful staff working here. The staff members at Saixiang are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. They make us feel welcome and at home. From the reservation to the front desk, from the restaurant staff and the cleaning crew and the concierge at the door, everyone was courteous and nice and eager to help out during our stay. Every request was fulfilled with speed and efficiency. The breakfast buffet is good for both Chinese and Western-style foods and drinks. We have stayed at Saixiang almost for ten years now and it has stayed wonderful year after year. We look forward to coming back. We highly recommend this hotel for leisure and business travelers, especially those traveling with family.

bad smell of smoking in the room
Cons:

Although the room is non-smoking room, at night the room is full of smoking smell from the air conditioning ventilation. I could not sleep well in the smell of the smokes for all the nights there.

We have been staying at Saixiang Hotel since 2015. We love the staff at Saixiang. They make us feel welcome and comfortable, and over the years many become like friends. Our special thanks to Sun Jing, Liu Qing, Zhang Sheng, and the hotel driver Mr. Li; Zhang Lei and the staff at breakfast buffet; and the concierge Wang Hanfeng and others. They are very nice and professional, and we think they are the best staff ever. We do hope the Executive Lounge will open the next time we visit~

The staff makes the hotel. We have come here for five years now. The staff members--Mr. Zhang Li, Ms. Liu Fang, Ms. Sun Jing, and Ms. Zhang at the Business Center --have gone out of way to make our stay comfortable and pleasing.
