Pros:

Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti da sentirsi subito a casa. Grandissima disponibilità e cortesia con un pizzico di informalità. L'hotel è curato con uno stile tipico che riconosceresti da lontano già nell'ingresso con la reception il piccolo bar e tutto il salotto con tavoli sedie e poltrone. Le camere al secondo piano che danno sul fronte dell'hotel sono molto particolari perché disposte su 2 livelli, nel nostro caso un letto singolo sotto e un matrimoniale sul soppalco in legno. La scala per salire forse è un po' ripida, ma niente che possa impensierire. Ottima la pulizia, anche nei riassetti giornalieri; ogni giorno tornando in camera ci accoglieva un buon profumo di pulito. Dove personalmente ho lasciato il cuore è la sala colazioni; ambiente splendido (ci vivrei)! Colazione abbondante, più orientata al dolce che al salato, con prodotti freschi sempre rimpiazzati dalle cameriere, per non lasciare delusi i ritardatari. 10 e lode per il pane (morbido dentro e croccante fuori) e lo speck (de gustibus ovviamente, ma per me che prediligo il salato è stata una gustosa costante, quasi assuefazione).
La posizione è strategica perché è appena fuori dal centro di Pinzolo, fuori dal traffico e molto tranquilla, permette di muoversi a piedi per il paese o di raggiungere il parco pubblico e il lungo fiume in un attimo. Il parcheggio è un plus non da poco.
Ultimo ma non per importanza, un sentito ringraziamento ai gestori, padroni di casa di lunga esperienza, sempre presenti e disponibili, con cui è un piacere intrattenersi. Un grande ringraziamento da parte nostra; speriamo di poterci rivedere dentro o fuori dall'hotel. 😉

The hotel looks clean, the room is spacious and clean, it is warm inside, and the balcony is large.

However, what is not pleasant: from the receptionist to the lady at breakfast or the spa, you constantly have the impression that someone is watching you. You can’t do anything without feeling like you are being monitored.

At breakfast, which is anyway very, very light, you cannot make your own coffee or tea. The lady stands there watching what you take and how much you drink.

Be careful with the spa: on Booking there are two options, one room without spa and one room with “unlimited” spa. We took the simple room thinking that the spa was included but limited. In reality, they ask you to pay for it, and this is not written anywhere on Booking.

Also, the “unlimited spa” does not really exist. In fact, it is limited, and on some days it is even closed.

I will leave below the schedule of the pool and spa, which is not even fixed, because they can close it whenever they want. Be careful when booking the room with “unlimited spa”.

Also, to access the spa, the lady comes to pick you up from the reception and opens the door with a special key, as if we were criminals.

The same lady does not even let you drink your tea peacefully: if you leave your cup and go to the sauna for a few minutes, when you come back the cup is already gone.

Pros:

Friendly welcoming staff who coped with our pigeon Italian very well. Family orientated both staff and clients. Would highly recommend booking the spa facilities which were outstanding value. Local dishes in restaurant varied and very tasty.

Cons:

A little dated room wise and smallish boot room. Maybe greater variety of beers in bar.

Pros:

Hotel a conduzione familiare e questo è sicuramente un punto a favore, si percepisce la passione e dedizione che la famiglia Caola ci mette. Soddisfatta ogni nostra piccola esigenza, camera pulita e confortevole. Colazione più che soddisfacente. Non ho avuto modo di provare il centro wellness per mancanza di tempo, ma tornerò!

Cons:

L'unica cosa che aggiungerei sono le zanzariere in camera ed un piccolo frigo-bar.
