Professional property host/manager
The staff were amazing at this hotel - they could not do enough to make my stay the best it could possibly be ! Every tiny detail. I wish I could afford to stay here in winter 🤣the dining, location & spa / gym & every aspect was just wonderful. I am sure I will visit again!
Very close to train station, but quiet; staff extremely helpful.
Hotel Mirabeau is located to allow convenient access to all Zermatt has to offer. Plus up with a pool and a jacuzzi and a on-site restaurant and this is the perfect oasis!!
Everything was simply amazing
Fantastic property !
Walked into the hotel to ask about pricing and they offered $800 total for two nights and we clarified that that was the total for two nights. Online it was $415 a night so we thought they were giving us a small discount so we booked it. Checked out and they stab us with oh no sorry $800 a night. Hôtel was nice but 300-400 a night nice not 800
Breakfast was great to begin my day. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are large and very clean. Very elegant looking restaurant lobby. Rooms are very spacious.
Everything is good except for the breakfast. Considering this is a 4 star hotel, I didn't expect to find a clean pool that you can swim in length and great steam room and sauna + a good clean and well-equipped gym. Though gym could be better if they can put in 2 more treadmill.
Room is spacious but will be better if they provide a chair for working on the desk rather than a long chair with no back support. Bathroom shower place is awkward as it comes right out to the toilet bowl. Room is very warm as there is no air conditioned. With global warming, all the European hotels have to start installing air conditioned if they want to attract guest in summer. It gets quite unbearable to sleep as we've to shut the balcony doors properly else you can hear your neighbors loud and clear.
I give it 5 star despite the shortcomings as all staff are very nice, polite and friendly except breakfast staff. They're consistently poor 2 days in a row. Spread is terrible is like a 3 star airport hotel and no top up of hot food after waiting for 15min. when it is only 8:30am.
Excellent customer service and attention. My room was comfortable and clean. I had an incredible view of the mountains from my spacious balcony. The designer bath salts and lotions, and soft, fluffy robe were such a treat after an overnight hike and climb of Matterhorn. Breakfast was exceptional, and offered fresh fruit, and anything else you could imagine. A completely luxurious stay and I will certainly reserve here should ski season bring me back to Zermatt!
This hotel is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful. It is clean and total the quintessential Swiss experience.
Lovely experience. First of all: it's the people. the gentleman on the desk was really kind and covered everything well at check in, which was nice and he brought me to the room = never had that done before.
this actually seemed what I would have thought of as Swiss experience..
the precooked - Scrambled eggs were nicely done - a rarity in my experience. And included in the price. Exceptional cooked breakfast options - - - I think 6-8 different tureens! But maybe they should use plastic tongs as they get hot on top of I think were induction plates? Breakfast was included too.
The Downsides: The room was small, but you get what you pay for and it was really all I wanted.
I think every hotel room need a table and a chair - which my smallish room did not have.
I think in most places an option on Low fat milk would be nice.
Cereal was in an odd place at breakfast.
Pet peeve, the Orangejuice tasted like "concentrated Orange Juice: whereas I think most people would expect "not from concentrate".
One issue was vertical blinds in the room - - - this is a no-no. A Basic function of any hotel window should be a blackout capacity.
Everything, aside from 1 issue, was scrupulously clean.
Notwithstanding it was Zermatt, the pricing was I thought very good for what I got,
Overall a really really good experience. I'd love to go back sometime. Really close to the train . Pool was really wonderful!
VIEW FROM THE BALCONY WAS EXCEPTIONAL... MATTERHORN VIEW
ROOM WAS VERY BIG WITHBATH TUB
VERY GOOD AND COMFY BED
LOCATION WAS TOO GOOD
STAFF WAS VERY POLITE & HELPFUL
Nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at,
Very enjoyable stay for 2 nights. Room was clean and modern with great views from all windows. We were upgraded to a better room. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Restaurant was good and staff were very polite. Great location only 5 minute walk from station even with luggage . Highly recommend.
Excellent small room with a decent
Great location (2 blocks, <0.5km from train station and from Gornergrat train, walk there is flat with no big hills), friendly staff, very clean, rooms in Etoile building large, clean, quiet with large balconies - some with Matterhorn view and fireplaces. Close to big grocery store and bus stop, easy walk to all major sites and multiple restaurants/stores.
Hotel right on waterfront path (one of only a few hotels lakefront), walking distance to train station (<1km) and bus station nearby. Is about midway between 2 lake ferry pickups, nearby grocery, convenient, and restaurants. Safe and quiet when no festivals next door. Huge balconies with lounge chairs and table/chairs with lake view/sunset views, rooms large, found prpoerty very clean and all staff friendly/helpful. Will stay again.
Wellness sehr schön wirklich heisses Dampfbad. Badeanzug ja/nein war nicht klar daher etwas komische Begegnungen in Sauna…
A very nice 4 star hotel located some 300 metres from both the Gornegrat and Sunnegga lifts. The 5 course dinners are excellent accompanied by very good service. The staff generally are very efficient and friendly.
Avoid the rooms facing the road as they are very noisy at night.
Loved the property. Nice rooms (we stayed in the junior suite), the spa and pool was a must after a long day of skiing, and location was very walkable. The only slight knock was the dining area staff (front desk was great) did not seem as friendly. Might have been an age thing as I was likely one of the younger guest (in my late twenties) but I felt a noticeable difference between how my wife and I were treated and the other couples.
