L'emplacement

Cons:

A notre arrivée une dame très fermée ! Chambre en bout de couloir nous avons tout entendu , route , passage etc .. quand au restaurant ! Jour de mon anniversaire on demande 1 bougie .. attende de 1h pour nous dire que non au final, on a attendu énormément de temps pour la prise de commande, le service etc les filles étaient en cuisine on entendait que elle rigoler a gorges déployée ce qui gêne le repas de tout le monde ... Pas bonne expérience du tout

Perfect location for Gatwick airport. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Pros:

We stayed for 1 night as we had an early flight from Gatwick. Very friendly staff at reception. Lovely property, our room was is a cottage at the back of the main hotel. We parked our car outside and easily unloaded our cases. Bed was huge but had to ask for more than 1 pillow each. Very clean room. Quiet nights sleep despite near a busy junction. 5 mins drive to airport.

Cons:

The roads were a bit of a nightmare as we came in front entrance but as our room was at the back we had to drive around to the car park and the junctions were busy with no right turn. We also had the same problem in the morning when the taxi came to the front and I asked him to come round the back as we were waiting there with our luggage but he didn’t really want to.

Ottimo hotel vicino all’aereoporto
Pros:

La struttura era davvero carina,facile da raggiungere con il bus direttamente dall’aeroporto ,se non ricordo male erano tipo 2fermate,noi abbiamo trascorso una notte

Cons:

Il caldo era davvero tanto in stanza e non sapevamo come poterlo spegnere

Adequate for an overnight

Great for a short stopover.
Pros:

The price! Needed a bed for the night at Christmas near to family in Horley. This was really reasonable, especially including the hearty breakfast. Nice staff - very helpful and friendly. Adequate parking.

Cons:

Having to cross a busy road from the annex to the main building.

OK but no shuttle to airport
Pros:

Good value and location. Easy walk into centre for pub grub.

Cons:

The shuttle service to the airport was no longer running. I called 3 days before arrival and hotel confirmed it was running and booked in. Cost me load more for taxis so may as well book elsewhere.

Disappointed with communication before and after especially after removing the transfers to Gatwick.
Pros:

Nice staff on reception.

Cons:

The hotel was booked 12 months in advance. It changed ownership a week before we arrived and they no longer undertake the transfers to Gatwick, this was the purpose of booking with them. Our return was Boxing Day we then had to pay a premium to get an Uber back to the hotel. They overcharged parking by £16 sent an e mail requesting a refund no response or refund received. Very disappointing.

Ideal for Gatwick airport
Pros:

The location to Gatwick is ideal, just a 5 minute drive to Gatwick north terminal. There’s also a lovely pub 5 minute walk away.

Cons:

It’s a bit tired, not really much atmosphere, but it was clean and ideal for a few hours sleep before an early flight.
