Muy practico por su proximidad al aeropuerto, la buena comunicación (transporte público 24/7) y el esfuerzo en tener todos los espacios agradables a la vista, tanto dentro como fuera.
Recepcionista muy amable y de gran ayuda telefónicamente respecto a temas logÃsticos antes de reservar.
Buena organización de todos los servicios básicos y necesarios con información completa en recepción respecto a WiFi, buses etc.con códigos QR para facilitar la estancia.
Igual faltaba alguien permanente en el bar ya que si se están atendiendo en recepción hay que esperar y si necesitas dormir temprano por la hora de tu vuelo podrÃa molestar tener que esperar.
Las cortinas y el throw encima de la cama no estaban muy limpios sinceramente, pero las sábanas etc sÃ.
Un espacio individual un poco apretado aunque sirve bien su función.
El ventilador del cuarto de baño tarda muchÃsimo en apagarse y es muy ruidoso.

It was a cold night with frost in the morning, (the first in many days), but no extra bedding on hand!

The rooms were very clean. The bed so comfy and a great shower. We had tea and coffee facilities too. The staff were friendly and helpful and the property close to the airport. We had to leave for the airport at 6am and we arrived refreshed ready to start our holiday 😎

The host at reception was very welcoming and nit only answered all of our questions but also gave us many valuable advices on how to get around and what to do during our stay at the hotel
It would have been very helpful if staff posted description or notified guests in advance on how to get to the hotel from Gatwick airport by different mode of transportation. For instance we were gouged by Uber and paid $58.00 CAD for less than 5 minutes ride while bus ride would cost us around $3.00 CAD for each passenger
The old corner house hotel
Tired and drab decoration where pictures had been removed, cracked mirrors, bare walls, no character.
The bedroom was freezing with no heating, asked for it to be put on, told it would take about 20mins but it never came on.
Towels were frayed.
Lack of any atmosphere, TV not on in the bar no guests, never seen it like that in 17 years of using it. Thankfully the only two staff present were two lovely people that have been there years.
Worst of all we were emailed two weeks before our stay and told the name had changed but everything else was the same, not the case no first night free parking anymore, in fact increased parking costs, no shuttle, adding a further £40 for taxis to our stay.
Nobody on the reception on early morning checkout obviously, as no early morning shuttle!
We had had many happy, welcoming stays at the old corner house, that I'm sure was a good business, we had recommended so many people there, now I'm afraid it is not the same, all the warmth has gone and we certainly won't be returning, but then I'm sure the new owners are trying to run it down so that it can't be classed as a loss of a viable business when they change it to a much more lucrative HMO!

Very comfortable self contained downstairs unit. Staff warm and friendly and offered to store our heavy baggage near reception. Location ideal with easy walk to local pub which receptionist recommended.
Highly recommend this Hotel very convenient for Gatwick, and excellent customer service.
Definitely stay there again if travel through Gatwick.
