TV did not work
Cama gostosa, quarto espaçoso, banheiro confortável. Café cortesia no quarto. Check-in/out rápido e prático.
A água quente acabou durante o banho. Precisamos esperar 15 minutos para ter mais água quente. Não tivemos oportunidade de tomar café da manhã, nosso voo era as 6h da manhã então tivemos que sair antes do café da manhã abrir.
For some people the location might be good and the provision of a gym and meeting rooms might be a benefit.
A lot:
1. When we checked in we were given a small room with an extra bed crammed into it which made it impossible to access one side of the double bed.
2. There was no door on the toilet. We’ve been married a long time but some things are not meant to be shared.
3. The receptionist swapped the initial room for a different one, this one had a door on the toilet. However it had not been cleaned and dirty towels and bed linen were strewn across the floor.
4. The third room was clean, but just like the previous two it was very small. We have had a caravan that more internal space.
5. We were provided with tea and coffee basics, but the tea provided was one peppermint teabag and one chamomile tea bag. The most popular tea in the world is English Breakfast Tea which was missing.
6. The missing tea bag was of little significance as the hotel do not provide a kettle. Perhaps some people like a cold tea infusion, but not us.
7. The hair dryer was faulty - it started and stopped randomly.
8. The room safe was faulty and would not lock.
9. We were told that they did not offer an evening meal. When we asked where might we find a decent dinner we were told that we should avail ourselves of the airport concourse - hardly a fine dining option.
10. Breakfast is provided, but the quality doesn’t meet any reasonable standard. The hot food offered was scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs looked to have been cooked some hours before and were dry and unappetising. They were at least vaguely warm which is more than you could say for the stone cold bacon. The coffee machine showed a number of faults while we were there. It ran out of water, then the drip tray needed to be emptied and then an error message was displayed saying that the milk system needed “deep cleaning” - hardly a reassuring message. Finding a staff member to attend to these faults was a fun game of hide and seek where we were to look for the staff member.
