The Oktopus Wassererlebniswelten water park is open until 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and until 12 pm on Mondays.

In bad weather, the outdoor pool remains closed. In good weather, it's open from 8 am until 8 pm, and from 8 am until 12 pm on Mondays.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Pros:

Bonne situation géographique, propre, parking a disposition

Cons:

Chambre sans climatisation, manque de personnel pour les services, la réceptionniste dois faire les arrivée, servir a boire et au restaurant... Chambre un peut vétuste, wifi très faible

Price wise, cannot be beaten. If you are ok with basic for short stay transit then this is perfect!
Pros:

The price can hardly be beaten. Free parking around the corner. Staff during breakfast was very friendly. Checkout at reception was easy.

Cons:

self checkin is something I don't like. It's usually not really customer friendly. When arriving extremely early or late, I understand the benefits of not needing staff at reception. The rooms are quite basic, These days, one is getting used to have a small bottle of water for example.

Pros:

Das Friendly City Hotel Oktopus ist meine erste Wahl, wenn es um Übernachtungen nach einem Konzert im benachbarten Kubana Live Club (gerade mal 3 min zu Fuß entfernt) geht.
Die Zimmer waren bisher immer sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, die ebenerdige Dusche kommt gerade nach einem Konzert, bei dem man sich ausgepowert hat, sehr gelegen.
Ich fühle mich im Hotel jedes Mal sehr wohl.

Cons:

Ich habe keine Beanstandungen, alles top!

Pros:

Wer Konzerte im Kubana besucht, findet nur ca. 200 m entfernt im Oktopus Hotel eine gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Parken ist für Hotelgäste gratis, allerdings nur, wenn man sich an der Rezeption ein Ticket holt. Das Frühstücksangebot ist umfangreich und überdurchschnittlich gut.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist schlicht, eine Flasche Wasser, ein Starter-Set oder gar eine Minibar sucht man vergebens. Der Fernseher erinnert von der Größe an die 90er-Jahre. Der Sessel war schmutzig, der Badvorleger hatte einen großen, deutlich sichtbaren Fleck. Beim Frühstück mussten wir ca. 10 Minuten warten, bis nach unserer Reklamation endlich Butter aufgefüllt wurde.

Das Frühstück und die Zimmergröße waren top!
Die Möglichkeit zu schwimmen, Fitness und Sauna sind auch klasse.

Cons:

Schlafen mit offenem Fenster ist viel zu laut und mit geschlossenem zu stickig. Die erste Nacht war grausam.
Schade, dass Sauna und Schwimmbad getrennt sind und dass die Sauna so unkreativ und einfach gehalten ist und eigentlich mit dem Fitnessraum, genauso wie das Schwimmbad für Außenstehende gedacht ist. Man darf es quasi mit benutzen.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit Abzügen in der B-Note.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war wie versprochen top, das Zimmer sehr geräumig. Das Personal am Counter war sehr zuvorkommend, gut geschult, empathisch und freundlich.

Cons:

Ich hatte vorab um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Meinem Wunsch wurde nicht entsprochen. Ganz im Gegenteil. Wir haben ein Zimmer im 3. Stock direkt zur Hauptstraße hin bekommen. Diese ist unglaublich laut, außerdem nervt die Orientierung für Blinde an der Fußgängerampel, die fast durchgehend piept. Fenster öffnen war also nicht drin. Leider war es im Zimmer auch noch recht warm. Das war der ungemütlichste Teil. Unterm Bett sah es aus wie Sau, wurde aber nach einem Hinweis umgehend gereinigt. Ärgerlich fand ich auch, dass vorab nicht kommuniziert wurde, dass der Fitnessbereich erst ab 18 Jahre zugänglich ist. Die Regelung an sich ist okay, ich hätte nur gerne vorher davon gewusst. Mein Sohn hat mich begleitet und er konnte so nicht wie versprochen trainieren. Das ist traurig und hätte beim Buchungsprozess aufploppen müssen.
