Pros:

They are reconstructing the hotel and upgrading the rooms with airco (at least ours had one now).
Rooms are completely new decorated.

Cons:

Unfortunately they don't have any means of cocking water in the room, so if you want to make tea/coffee you have to bring your own stuff. They also don't have a refrigerator anymore.

das Hotel Hirsch liegt preislich schon im oberen Bereich, neuerdings werden Parkgebühren erfasst, beim Einfahren ((automatische Nummererkennung) haben sie genau 15 min Zeit zum Einchecken Zimmer beziehen und ggfs den Parkplatz wieder zu verlassen, wir benötigten leider 19 min und hätten €1.50 Bezahlen müssen. Bei einer Übernachtung von ca € 100,- kommen zusätzlich noch € 15,- / Tag dazu. Einige Besucher hatten beim Auschecken Ihren Unmut mitgeteilt und werden in Zukunft auf andere Hotels ausweichen. Sie haben 2 Std Zeit kostenlos zu Parken, wenn sie Gast des Restaurants sind - benötigen sie länger fürs Essen - bezahlen sie wieder Parkgebühren. Ob die Parkgebühren in dieser Art und Weise Zielführen sind - werden die Buchungen zeigen. Ich für meinen Teil glaube es nicht.

Man konnte sich dort gut erholen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft erfüllte alle wichtigen Wünsche. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und nicht zu viel. Es ist ein Mittelklasse-Hotel. Es war sehr ruhig und das Personal war sehr freundlich und verständnisvoll.

Cons:

Der Fön hatte gefehlt.

Welcoming, exceptional dinner and good value for money.
Pros:

Staff went over the top to provide assistance beyond their duty. Extremely welcoming and genuine. Happy to help. The evening meal was beyond expectations.

Das Frühstück für 21.-€ war unangemessen teuer. Die Auswahl an Schinken/Wurst/Käse von einfachster Qualität. Morgens um 9 Uhr war das Angebot an Brot und Brötchen mangelhaft: keine Vollkorn- oder Körnerbrötchen mehr, billigstes Baguette, Körbchen mit süßen Gebäckstücken leer!

We had stayed at the Hirsch Hotel several years ago. The updates on the property has helped maintain the nice atmosphere I remember

Cons:

I wish I would have gotten a heads up about the construction and was told where to enter the parking lot. The front receptionist told me at check-in that we needed to pay for 4 rooms instead of the three I had confirmed bookings for. The 4th one we were being charged for I had cancelled. I showed her where I had cancelled but she said until it shows in their books Booking.com will not pay the Hirsch Hotel. I literally was up every couple of hours chatting back and forth with customer service to straighten this out. I was happy at checkout to learn it had been taken care of but it didn’t get me back my sleep I had lost.
