Great Hotel
Pros:

Great Location set in a lovely village. Really nice Hotel, different from the usual commercial hotels, but no comprise on comfort or style. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Alsfeld area.

tolles Hotel in einer spektakulären Burg

Auch wenn das Hotel sicherlich vor allem für Hochzeiten als wunderschöne Kulisse gebucht wird, hat es uns als "Normalreisende" auch sehr gut gefallen.

Wonderful Castle experience
Pros:

Hotel staff were very accommodating in correcting a reservation glitch to ensure our stay was enjoyable and met our needs. For those wanting the experience of staying in a castle, I would highly recommend Schloss Romrod. Out 12 year old loved it and was a highlight of our trip for him.

Flitig Tysklandsresenär.
Pros:

Rummet ok men tyvärr brant svängd trappa till 3:e våningen,
jobbigt med som vi hade mycket bagage eftersom vi varit i Tyskland 2 veckor redan.

Wie immer eine echte Empfehlung in dieser Region. Die Mitarbeiter aller Bereiche sind außerordentlich freundlich und engagiert. Tolles Frühstück und ein schönes Ambiente.
Lediglich die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig - speziell zum etagenflur....

Awesome Castle Experience
Pros:

This is one of the coolest hotels I have stayed at while traveling in Europe. The rooms are very modern and spacious and the atmosphere of staying in a castle with all the modern conveniences provides a unique experience. One word of caution, Romrod is a small town. There in nearly nothing open on Sunday and on Monday many restaurants are closed all together or close early - even at the hotel and in larger towns in the area. Plan accordingly.
