Wes Hotel Izmit

I imagine the property to once be an amazing hotel but found it to now be a little tired & maybe in need of updating. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly, especially the young lady at reception. Pool looked amazing but for me the room was a little hot but thats just personal preference. Over all a fairly nice stay thank you all.

I booked Wes Otel Izmit through Expedia for Sept 16, 2025 and paid the hotel directly at check-in. I was charged 4,500 TL, but later I saw another couple checking in and paying only 2,200 TL for the same night.

When I went to reception to report serious safety and hygiene problems in the room (mold and rust in the bathroom, no soap, broken shampoo bottles, exposed wires on a damaged hair dryer that shocked me), I also asked about the price difference. The staff said it was because of Expedia’s commission, but I paid the hotel directly and such a large difference is unacceptable.

I left the room immediately and requested a refund, but the hotel refused. The room was unsafe, unsanitary, and the amount charged was far above the normal rate.

Der var ikke tørt støv af og gjordt ordenlig ren.. wifi virkede ikke .. fjernsynet virkede ikke og sengetøjet var der huller i

Çift kişilik odada tek bir havlu ve tek terlik vardı. Sonradan aldık. Duşakabin deki şampuan ve duş jeli çok çok kötü kokuyordu. Kesinlikle mide bulandırıcıydı. Kahvaltıları lezzetliydi. Çalışanlar samimiydi.

The best features of this hotel are its proximity to several restaurants and eateries and the buffet breakfast, which was limited but sufficient. My room was comfortable, but I would not call this hotel 4-star. It used to be. It is a bit worn down and is now a 3-star. Staff were friendly and helpful, though.

Staff polite, room clean , property needs maintenance.

Konum olarak harika,. Resepsiyon guleryuzlu ve yardimciydi. Musait oldugu icin bizi kirmayarak deniz manzarali oda verdiler. Bunun yaninda 6.katta bar oldugu icin gece muzik sesi rahatsiz ediciydi. Özellikle cumartesi gecesi daha gec saatlere kadar surdu bu durum. Ayrica disaridan gelen bar musterileri yuzunden otoparkta hic yer yoktu. Adetim olmamasina ragmen arabayi valeye verdik anahtari sabah resepsiyondan aldik. Kahvalti hayal kirikligina ugratti,daha kotu yerlerde daha iyisini gördüm. Son olarak havuz icin satilan naylon bezden yapilan boneye verdigim 150 lirayi unutmayacagim,suyuda asiri klorlu ayrica. Küçüktü,Ortam soguk oldugu icin üşüdüm Bence spa bölümü basarisiz.

Öncelikle Odanın penceresi kapanmıyordu gece ısınma sıkıntısı yaşadık dahada önemlisi lavabo alttan su akıtıyordu bir türlü çözüm bulunmadı oda içerisinde ki bardaklar karton bardaktı ve 2 kişi konaklamamıza rağmen 2 karton bardak bırakılmış yetersizdi banyo da bulunması gereken şampuan maalesef yoktu Aracım için park sıkıntısı yaşadım üzgünüm konaklamadan memnun kalmadım

Henkilökunta on mukava ja avulias. Sijainti on hyvä. Veden paine suihkussa oli erinomainen. Valitettavasti käytössä olevaa suihkua en saanut toimimaan joten piti käyttää kädessä pidettävää kokoajan.

Kylpyhuone/WC tilat kaipaavat pientä päivitystä, mutta kyllä näilläkin pärjää.

Toive olisi saada hotellille myös sähköauton/hybridin latausmahdillisuus.

Old facilities, lots of rusty surfaces. Needs refurbishment as soon as possible.

New hotel at cost for short periods only

I suggest changing the four stars next to the hotel name to four mosquitoes🦟
I don’t know where to start, the room was dirty, filthy and full of flying insects
In regards to the noise, there is a competition who’s more noisy the club in the last floor or the street that you feel is running inside your room!
The AC has been switched to heating, I called to ask how to change it to cool. The answer was simply “open the window”
Well, beside the noise, there’s no screen so all the insect will come in to welcome you
So I closed the window, but the room became a sauna room 😩
Thinking of solutions, I asked for a fan, they don’t have fans
Asked for insecticide spay, can’t give it to you
Finally I left the room in the middle of the night to the bus station and left the whole area taking the first airplane ✈️
The only good thing in this place was the overnight receptionist, he was polite, nice and helped me getting a taxi to flee to the bus station

Kaldığım oda küçüktü fakat temizdi. Resepsiyon güler yüzlü ilgiliydi kahvalti yeterli. Terasdaki alakart restaurant ve bar manzarasi çok güzeldi fiyatlari fazla değildi.

Temizlik konusunda yeterli. Minibar konusunda daha önce böylesini görmemiştim. Pahalı demek yetersiz kalır.

Hotel is easy walking distance to town and easy access coming from Istanbul. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Facilities closed due to Covid but receptionist helped order in. The room was compact but had everything necessary.
Would recommend.
Price is very reasonable.

It was comfortable my check in was smooth staff are friendly and helpful the location of the hotel was so convenient to reach each places very easy

Also der Frühstück sehr sehr enttäuschend, die Handtücher sind sehr sehr alt und die Dusch Utensilien sind schrecklich.

Also ich empfehle dieses Hotel nicht weiter

Odalarda dezenfektan olmaması hariç hersey iyidi!

Havde fantastisk hjælp af receptionisten, da mit bilbatteri var stået af, og skulle have fat i en mekaniker og det var på en søndag.
Eneste minus var, at restaurationen om aftenen var lavet om til diskotek og var umulig at sidde og spise aftensmåltid i.
