Never again
Pros:

24 front desk as I arrived late. They had no idea that I had booked a room

Cons:

The Aircon remote was missing and they couldn’t give me another remote. It was so Hot in the room and I eventually left after two hours. I would actually like a refund.

Toilet was not working tried to fix it at night had a running stomach, and I reported the toilet on my arrival and was ignored, tissues was not sufficient had to use towels to wipe my back

We did not stay, we could not sleep in that room - mouldy, dirty, and just suffocating of mould.
Pros:

The hotel location - very well located for our bussiness travel. Our office is in Braam Fischer Rd Durban, Essenwood Hotel is litteraly 2 min from our Musgrave gym and 5 min from our office. They are very well located.

Cons:

The reception area was dirty. The receptionist and another employee were having a casual conversation when we came in, had to wait for them to finish then attend to us. The room was mouldy and wet and looks super tired, some renovations are definately needed. We went to ask the receptionist to move us to a not wet and mouldy room because my partner has sinus, we would not survive sleeping in such mould. She was super arrogant and told us that was the last room available. We checked out and went for another hotel. We found Eden Hotel, Florida Rd, Superb hotel, we will be staying with Eden for our future bussiness travels to Durban.

Wouldn’t book here again
Cons:

The shower is in the room with no separate door so if sharing this is not ideal. Mould in the room due to the moisture of the shower not being separate from the room

Felt more like a place to just come and sleep, nothing else
Pros:

The cleaning lady was very welcoming and friendly

Cons:

the place could have been much cleaner to reflect what was sold on the website. The old entrance looked like the hotel had closed a while ago.
