Aesthetically pleasing hotel, but did not fully impress us.
Pros:

We loved how aesthetically pleasing both the building & interior were, the breakfast tasted very good.

Cons:

The overall experience just wasn't as seamless as we had hoped. As a couple who travel regularly, we generally prefer minimal interaction with hotel staff, but during this stay we had to make contact several times to resolve different issues. After booking, we mentioned that we were staying following our wedding and asked if there was anything the hotel could do to make the occasion special. We were told we would receive an upgrade, but this didn't appear to happen.

When we arrived at around 1:00 pm, we simply wanted to drop off our bags. We'd already completed the pre-check-in process, so it was understandable that the room wasn't ready. We finished checking in at reception and let the staff know we'd be back later. However, as we were celebrating a very important personal occasion that day, it was disappointing to receive a text message stating that if we didn't return by midnight, our room would be released. This meant we had to cut our celebrations short unnecessarily.

There were also a few issues with the room itself. The TV remote was missing, so we couldn't use the television. We reported this at reception and were told someone would bring one up, but nobody ever did. The bathroom door handle also kept falling off, which was frustrating. In addition, the room had two single beds pushed together rather than a double, which wasn't ideal for a couple.

Breakfast was served in an alternative location because of a large event the previous evening. The food itself was good, but when we asked to swap the mushrooms for extra hash browns, we were told there would be an additional charge. Our toast was also forgotten and only arrived after we asked.

Overall, while there were some positives, the number of small issues added up and detracted from what should have been a special stay. At £314 for a single night, we didn't feel the experience offered good value for money.

Beaitiful design. Looks exactly like the pictures. Rooms were excellent too

Cons:

There was a lot of events on which meant we couldn't use the facilities alot of the time (restaurant/outdoor seating area etc)

It took a lot of time to get service and help from a lot of the staff. The restaurant staff service was also awfully slow

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would happily return.
Pros:

I had a great stay at Ember Locke Kensington. The location is excellent and the room was gorgeous, spacious, and very comfortable with a cosy bed. Communication was quick and the facilities were really impressive.

Cons:

The only downside was that the bathroom could have been cleaner, as it was quite dusty.

Location. Concierge/Customer Service - Patricia was incredibly helpful and assisted us during delayed check in.

Cons:

Delayed check-in due to cleaning not completed on time. Cleaning wasn’t thorough, with food items from previous guests left in cupboard.

Would definitely not stay again

Cons:

I wish I had taken the google reviews more seriously. The room was dirty when I arrived late at night. There was a huge gross footprint on the couch. Nothing felt like it had been thoroughly cleaned. Marks on the walls and carpet. Floor felt dirty. Toilet needed extra cleaning…The staff did send someone to do a clean when I let the front desk know the next morning but it never felt truly clean. Pillows and mattress were also lumpy and uncomfortable and the bathroom tub didn’t drain properly.
