We had the new refurbished lodge and it was lovely and modern and clean
The plumbing made loud noises every time someone ran any water
Great location with very family friendly facilities
The lodge was a little unclean and some of the picnic benches and other external furnishings could be cleaned up a little. The woodland paths could be maintained a little better.
Wonderful relaxing break for whole family. Clean, comfortable lodge with all we could need for the 7 of us. Lovely staff who were helpful and professional.
Great facilities and a beautiful, well-kept estate.
Top marks to everyone concerned!
Beautiful grounds and the staff were lovely. Fantastic amenities in the lodge. Kitchen area was very clean.
Booked a lodge with a “terrace with view of the gardens” but got a lodge completely blocked by a tree. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable but that may come down to personal preference.
The location and the privacy
The WiFi network is very poor

info from reception
Easy check in. Lodges were immaculate and done to high standards. The spa facilities were great and free to use. Pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were well used by our party. Estate is in ideal place as it's only less than 10 min drive to auchterarder town centre for food or shops.
Nothing. Will be back again for sure
Location was okay
We booked a semi detached lodge and we were allocated an end terraced.
Spoke to the manager on duty and he insisted that an end terraced is a semi detached. He offered to move us to the same again or a mid terraced.
Our first day in the lodge we didn't know that fridge wasn't really working so some of our food we had to throw away the next day. The dining table at the veranda was dirty and when spoke to the manager he said he will send someone to clean but no one came. The mattress on the sofa bed had a big stain and all window blinds are covered with dust.
Manager on duty was very unhelpful and I got the feeling that when he saw me he thinks that I wouldn't know the difference of semi detached and an end terraced.
Would never go back and will never recommend unless management is changed.
The place is beautiful. Beautifully tended green spaces, gorgeous views. Being able to sit outside on an upstairs terrace (the 3 bedroom lodge was an ‘upside down’ houses with the rooms downstairs and the living space upstairs). The bed was SUPER comfortable. And the space was minimal but clean and spaciously cozy, with everything you might need. Parking is easy and it’s easy to get there.
The place is a little tired and needs maintenance - some things were well worn, dated or broken (the fridge door kept coming unscrewed) and the bathroom has mould marks on the silicone sealant. It needs a little freshening. We also had no hot water after a few people used the showers in the morning. The TVs weren’t Smart TVs (which for the type of venue I would have assumed they would be). And the WiFi was pretty sketchy. The main issue we had was with the spa. Apart from the fact it was open until 8pm but we got kicked out around 7:45/50, was there are no clear instructions on sauna and hamam use. People came in and sat directly on the wood (leaving lovely sweat marks on it when they left - the wood absorbs sweat, which can lead to bacteria growth and unpleasant odours over time), with plastic bottles in hand (this breaks down in the heat and gets mixed into the air we’re breathing and sitting in) and wearing footwear which they rested on the seating (bringing them inside introduces dirt from the floors directly onto the benches where people sit. Worse, intense sauna heat can cause the synthetic plastics, rubbers, and glues in flip-flops to off-gas, releasing unpleasant or toxic chemical fumes into a tightly enclosed, unventilated space. Again - then people sit on these seats with wide open pores and what is supposed to be cleansing is now not so much). Apart from being unhygienic it just works against what we’re in the sauna for! I may be a bit of a sauna aficionado but it just seems plain common sense to me to take care of the space by having clear and unequivocal directions for use! And again - the hamam had no ‘Tas’ or shower hose to hose down the seats (where people have been sitting in wet costumes and sweating) nor to wash down yourself (generally customary in these spaces). If you’re going to call a space a ‘spa’ then make sure certain hygiene standards are maintained!
Lovely grounds, nice big bedroom and modern clean bathroom.
Housekeeping had made the bed up as a double when I had booked a twin. Also the previous occupant's underwear was still on the floor.
