Please be informed that Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) has announced a scheduled water supply disruption in Penang from 25th to 28th April 2025.

The hotel will remain fully operational during this period. We have taken proactive measures to ensure minimal disruption and maintain all our guests' comfort and convenience.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 2 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Would certainly stay here again!
Pros:

The location was perfect. We were able to walk or take a short Grab ride to all the places we wanted to go in George Town. Checking in/out was a breeze. The staff was wonderful, and the townhouse (number 7) was beautifully renovated and decorated.

Für zwei Nächte empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Sehr sauberes, historisches kleines Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Restaurants, Bars und Sehenswürdigkeiten alles in der Nähe. Zimmer sind sehr klein und die Betten hart. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend- wem es zu wenig ist kann sich zusätzlich etwas bestellen. Der Pool ist für eine kurze Erfrischung perfekt. Bei uns war es sehr ruhig.

Great location but not comfortable
Pros:

The location was great for us. In the livelier part of town and easy walking distance to the attractions we were visiting to see.
Staff were really lovely throughout the stay.
Pool area well maintained and nice to enjoy after hot day out.
The building itself on the outside is really pretty.

Cons:

The room was very dated. We paid for a better room but the pictures on Booking make it look much better than what you actually get.
Very hard bed.
AC very noisy and broke completely on our last night with a smell of burning.
Breakfast was ok but not great.

We would recommend this hotel for its distinctive building and excellent location.
Pros:

The location is excellent, right in the center of the tourist area, within walking distance of Chulia Street food and many great cafés.

Cons:

There is some noise from traffic at times. Adding a sofa in each room would further enhance comfort for guests.

Pros:

Everything about the hotel was great. The facilities, staff and the restaurant next door.

Cons:

Upon my request, the hotel arranged for airport transfer once I checked out. However the driver was late. No apologies, nothing. Only said, "I dunno anything, my boss arranged the transfer. Talk to him." Yeng Keng hotel should re-evaluate using this transport vendor.

L'emplacement

Cons:

Petit déjeuner catastrophique, Quelques clémentines et petits morceaux de pastèque, quelques bouchées de riz sucrées, oeufs... Aucun choix et pas de qualité.
Seulement 4 transats autour de la mini piscine et literie qui laissait à désirer au niveau confort....je ne recommande pas cet hôtel il y a mieux !!!
