Please be informed that Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) has announced a scheduled water supply disruption in Penang from 25th to 28th April 2025.

The hotel will remain fully operational during this period. We have taken proactive measures to ensure minimal disruption and maintain all our guests' comfort and convenience.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 2 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Interesting and unique

Beautiful heritage hotel a very convenient location.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a very vibrant locality. There are countless restaurants, bars and shops within a ten minute walk.The staff are excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. Although small the swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after a hot day.

Cons:

The location can be a bit noisy, because of the mixed nature of the street.

A happy, privileged stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

This is possibly the most beautiful hotel in Georgetown - small; centrally located; helpful friendly staff! The reception and dining areas were filled with stunningly ornate furniture and we felt fortunate to be able to access and stay at this historic hotel. Loved it!

Nothing. It was all so beautiful!

Prima hotel met veel persoonlijke aandacht en gelegen in het centrum van de oude stad
Pros:

Prima ontbijt, genoeg keuze. De locatie is midden in de oude stad. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en attent. Kamers zijn keurig en klassiek ingericht

Cons:

Het hotel heeft een zwembad wat een pluspunt is. Er zijn echter veel te weinig ligbedden en de vloer rondo. Het zwembad is spiegelglad als deze nat wordt!

A short stay in Penang
Pros:

The hotel is located in the midst of the historical quarter of George town, Penang. We had the suite which faced Chulia Street, a main thoroughfare.As such it was a little noisy but not a problem.We walked to most of the sights and restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant next to it which, however we did not try except for breakfast that was included.

Cons:

The breakfast which was included was basic and disappointing.

Pros:

The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance, to immerse in all that Georgetown has to offer. The staff and service is excellent. All facilities are kept very clean and the pool was perfect to cool off every afternoon, after a morning’s walk, exploring Georgetown.

Cons:

The bed had an extremely hard mattress.

Pros:

L’amabilité et la réactivité du personnel. Les chambres à l’étage sont calmes, spacieuses et les lits sont grands.

Cons:

Les chambres du bas ne sont pas insonorisées et il fait lourd (malgré la clim allumée). Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas bon, heureusement qu’il est compris dans le prix :)
