Hotel VIP International

I checked in for two days in the hotel ..The rectionists are good gentle and professional.The day i was checking out one guy took the keys and went to my room ,i was paying the outstanding amount to another guy who was wearing a tie and payment done.Suddenly the guy who took keys from me came down getting a towel which was white towel with red patches on it saying this is your towel you ruined it and pay extra 500 bugs. That was not at all my towel and that red colour was paint,neither im a painter ..They started arguing and fight started.I said a towel cost would not be more than 100 bugs.They started quarell and took 300 bugs from me,This is a game they are playing for money..Till now they didnt give me my bill of the stay.They took 1000 bugs extra for only the coffees and roti idal that i ordered there..When i asked the bill they said system not working and we will send you the bill later ..This is what guys dont ever get into that hotel ...They are looting money i hope the owner of the hotel sees my review,It went only with a towel think if they break anything else which is costly and put it on our head..Never ever dont check into that hotel..I have buisiness work again for next one year i will never get into that hotel...

Rooms are worst…Really not good…please don’t ever book this hotel…Dirty place…All curtains are not cleaned ..Staff won’t respond properly…please take action..there is no cancellation if tell rooms are not good..

I was staying for business purpose,it was my unbelievable experience, thanks to all for make my days memorable and thanks to service team and special thanks to Mr aravind.also the food was like awesome,the test and the price both are equal.

The pictures must be from when the hotel just opened. I wish I had taken pictures of the cockroaches crawling on the wall but I was traumatized after changing rooms 3 times. This hotel is dirty and disgusting. Even though I paid already , I left.

This place is under construction. They should not be entertaining any guests until the property is in a decent habitable condition. Overall, it was a horrible experience for me and my family.

Worst hotel I've ever stay. Nothing is good here. Poor room with poorest service. Service staffs were also rude. Washroom was dirty. Even they don't provide drinking water. Lift was horrible. Total bad experience.

I visited Kolkata after almost 7/8 years. Normally I book my hotel and pay in advance so that I can travel hassle-free. When I arrived at this hotel, they informed me that they cancelled my booking. I opened my phone and opened Agoda app. I showed them it is confirmed and paid. They informed that, they cancelled it but it was not updated. I contacted customer service at Agoda via app chat. After few mins, they agreed to give me a room. The first room was very dirty and the toilet Commode pan was full of pee. I showed it to room service. They said, it cannot be clean. I declined to take that room. But at my utmost surprise, they showed me 4/5 rooms and all are same. Finally I got a room where plan was moderately clean (no pee on pan). But the room was soooo filthy and dirty, my stay was horrible. I had a disgusting stay. They do not do any maintenance at all.

This was my 2nd visit to the hotel. I was quite disappointed this time for many reasons. Right from reception to housekeeping to food & beverage every dept. responded late. I really had to call multiple times even for a toilet tissue which should have been in the toilet before checking in. The AC was not working well, I had to use the fan simultaneously. The breakfast was also a let down as they have switched to serving in room set breakfast instead of the earlier buffet breakfast which was good.

The best part is still its location. Very convenient. The property requires major renovation & training for the staffs. Not a three star anymore.

The tariff was also higher this time compared to the facilities & services. Not recommended for family travelers unless above improvements are made. For solo travelers, my advice would be to avoid paying for the breakfast & negotiate hard on the room rent.

This is a low quality hotel, can get much better hotel for same or slighly higher rate. Room was clean however bathroom was bad. Air conditioning when switched on was like a motor running, very loud. The communal area, in particular was so dirty, carpet looked like it not be hoovered or cleaned for 10 years and lift windows were broken.

Long time for response. Dont supply water. Do Not have facility to regular room cleanings. Lift is off all over the day and night.

all major markets night clubs.and other restaurants and tourist attractions are nearby..in 2km radius.

Hotel vip international is good beyond expectations...we love their room service and rooms are near and clean...house keeping is responsive to calls ...rooms are very much equiped with modern amenities

The hotel vip international is good beyond expectation the price charged is nothing against the facilities being given staff are good food served is good it is also centrally located. I love this hotel very much

there was a rat in the room, and when we informed the manager she was reluctant to do anything... the baggage carrier didn't want to go from the room and was asking for tips everytime indirectly... that was very awkward.... the room was not like pictures..

worst place to stay, unexpirence people at front, dirty bed sheets , broken shower, mould beverages in the mini bar, how come the government of India or hotel association of Kolkata is not taking action over this types of hotel , where the concern about health and safety for the guest, hope by this comment the hotel staff could remember the scenarios that took on 22 Nov 2019. please never book hotel online first visit the room personally cause we travel to have fun and want to rest ourself in clean and comfortable rooms on time. respected VIP international staff first get training how to provide the hospitality service and learn how to handle the situation.

Good service , nice hospitality. They helped us a lot regarding packing our baggages. Also helped us with Managing ola cabs. They also have option to book over phone outside India. I do like their breakfast as well but just not the place, its a bit dark place.

Hotel vip international is an excellent hotel with its central location.room service is excellent.staff are very co-operative and management is too good.house keeping is very responsive.i recommend all in this hotel if you are in kolkata

Fantastic stay! Mr Azeem, MrAli, Ms Sneha & Ms Zeeba all very helpful! Great location, good service and assisted with my further travels...always happy to go the extra mile for their guests...cannot speak highly enough of the team here!
