Please note that Raffles Makkah Palace does not permit food from outside the hotel. Please note that during Month of Ramadan Breakfast will be served as Iftar & Dinner will be served as Sohour.

Premium Hotel with Disappointing Room Standards. Quality checks much needed.
Pros:

I recently stayed at Raffles Makkah Palace and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the service provided by the staff was truly excellent, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and eager to help, which made my stay very comfortable.

However, my experience in the Signature Room was slightly disappointing given the hotel’s reputation and price point. While everything looked clean at first glance, there were a few noticeable issues. The bathroom, in particular, could have been better maintained. The bathtub was not as clean as expected, and the shower-head attachment was broken, which affected usability.

Despite these concerns, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff stood out and helped balance the experience. With a bit more attention to detail in room maintenance and cleanliness, this hotel could easily meet the high standards it is known for.

Did appreciate the hotel female prayer room.

Superb !
Pros:

Stayed from 16th March until 20th March. Had gone there for Umrah.

Very courteous and helpful staff from Top down. Check-in was seamless. Food was great. Housekeeping staff were very accommodating. Concierge staff were awesome, particularly Mr. Iftikhar who went out of the way (after his work hours were over) and liaised between myself and the airport drop off chauffeur.

The property: although still kept in good condition the bathrooms in the bedrooms seemed a little dated and can be improved for a better experience.

Excellent perfectly maintained hotel, luxury suites and perfect views and location. Impeccable service.
Pros:

The hotel is excellent in every aspect and I’ll detail them below.

Location - the hotel is accessed from the first elevators in the clock towers the distance between haram and hotel is nearly nothing.
You have to take two elevators but as long as it is to Haram or Haram to hotel you won’t have issues.

Rooms - I had a haram view room , it was very spacious and has two toilets which was a plus for just one king bed room. The bed is extremely comfy and the furniture is well maintained. I feared it’s an old hotel but it does not show that and is in excellent condition.

Food - I took breakfast and dinner package and it is worth the money. The food is great and there’s so much variety. Plus there’s tables with haram view.

Check-in and checkout - smooth there was no load on reception.

Note : you’ll see complains in general with clock towers about the lifts. Reality is it’s a pain if you are going from any floor in the mall other than ground to the hotel. So you’ll wait like 5 minutes or more of in p2-p5 otherwise no with
and all smooth haram and back.

A kind note for Hajer and Nawaf Al utaibi at front desk for their excellent hospitality.
