We thought the staff in restraint for evening meal and breakfast were excellent . The food was excellent great cheff .
Pros:

Compact and close to facilities

Cons:

Access via steps difficult for older people , lack of lift facilities.
Room was ok but lighting poor unable to read easily - bed lamps on headboard really poor and recessed down lighting poorly positioned.
Need grab rail in shower/ bath location?
The pillows were really solid in fact hard so very uncomfortable .

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, and breakfast was delish

Cons:

The radiator in the room was on full blast and turning the thermostat down didn’t work…. The window only opens a crack so was a pretty uncomfortable sleep, other than that we had a nice stay
