Dirty stairwell -fag burns curtains ..old fixtures tv broken .dust everywhere tattered old mattress protector
Honestly student accommodation is better
They concentrate on weddings so dont care uch about other guests
Old fixtures on the walls where broken items replaced
1970 curtain rails
Honestly not worth it

Staff were nor prepared to be flexible in solving the excessive heat. Just open some doors/windows

I liked the check out, as I could finally get out of this hotel

Cons:

Yes I know we are experiencing very hot weather, however when the Hotel could not even locate an electric fan, I found that very poor. I did manage to get one in the room on second day. The room also suffered from direct hot bright sunshine pouring in all day, so the room became a furnace. which also affected the corridor. things outside the Hotel did call down both nights, however as per good old health and safety the window only open a fraction. The room would have certainly cooled down had the hotel been able to show a flexible attitude. what about my human rights to a restful night!!!!!!!!!

Convenient location
Pros:

Good location as we have family in the area. Plenty of things to walk to in Whickham village and close to motorway

Cons:

It is a little dated and one off putting thing is the smokers area is located right outside the entrance to the hotels ‘front desk’. It isn’t something you want to walk through when arriving at a hotel

Lovely stay, will come again
Pros:

Breakfast was great, excellent choice cooked to perfection, staff very friendly comfortable room with just the right space

Cons:

Times for room service were very limited which was an inconvenience as I had to stay alone with our dog as he opened the doors when I tried to go to breakfast

Cons:

Not keen of rooms on front, very noisy but understand this is reflected in the price. Surprised no hairdryer in this last room.

Pros:

Staff were lovely. Breakfast exceptional....we are in the restaurant on the night and the food was excellent.
