Beautiful interior of common areas. The room was clean and bright. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Very good breakfast and a wonderful pub.
Room heating was inconsistent if not fully nonfunctional. Two good hot showers, one mildly cold shower and one absolutely freezing shower
Spotless room, comfortable bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Lovely staff. Ideal location for walks to the harbour and Slains Castle. Ideal location for golfers!
Location was good the, staff were friendly and helpful a comfortable stay
The evening meal could have been better a bit over cooked

Nice big room
Very good
Warmer bathroom
Breakfast was excellent with a proper menu, cooked to order and table service. Dinner also excellent
very little to find fault with
The hotel is very cozy to be in, even if it is old in style. I never felt overly cold although I could hear the north sea winds blowing wildly against the windows. The selection of whisky's and the food served is just amazing definitely worth staying there for those. The staff were all polite and helpful, very good service. There is some nice history to the area and worth spending time checking them out, most are all within walking distance so make sure to have wellington boots or waterproof hiking shoes.
The only bad thing is the bus services can be temperamental so for best travel freedom, have a car to drive around.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying there.
well kept, welcoming.
This hotel is very consistent. We have stayed there 3 times and have always been happy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
If you have a lot of luggage, ask for a room with the least amount of steps to climb.
Breakfast was 1st class and the location was perfect for us
For me nothing
The friendliness of the staff was excellent. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. We enjoyed reading about the history of the hotel.
Our arrival coincided with a children's party which was quite noisy.
Food, the people. Lovely place! 👌🏼
