Fijn hotel in een schitterende omgeving
Pros:

Het is een mooi hotel, waarin originele bouw op een hele prettige manier is uitgebreid met moderne aanbouw. Zo kon je binnen in een moderne entree en receptie, maar is de lounge in een mooie salonstijl en heb je een ouderwetse wenteltrap naar de verdiepingen. Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeerterrein (gratis parkeren) en een schitterend, groot stuk grond tot aan de rivier. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk. Er beginnen wandelingen direct bij het hotel en je kunt zowel met de auto (3 min) als lopend (ca 3 km) makkelijk naar La-Roche-en-Ardenne. Het hotel heeft een wellness (hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt, maar zag er goed uit).

Cons:

De kamer had een 'gek' balkon - eigenlijk 2. 1 waar echt maar 1 stoel op past, en 1 wat langer maar smal stuk. Niet echt om met 2 personen te kunnen zitten. Als je de insecten uit de kamer wil houden en dus de ramen dicht, is de kamer erg warm. Er is wel luchtverversing, maar niet echt airco. Na de eerste nacht waren bij de schoonmaak wel de gebruikte handdoeken meegenomen, maar niet vervangen. We konden ze wel vragen bij de receptie, dus niet onoverkomelijk. Ook als je handdoeken wilde voor de sauna moest je die bij de receptie vragen. Bij het ontbijt viel ons echt tegen dat het roerei en de spek koud dan wel lauw was. En als het ontbijt tot 10 uur is, vinden wij het niet bij een 4* hotel passen dat om 9 uur al zaken op zijn (croissantjes, broodjes). Tijdens ons verblijf waren er problemen met de koffiemachine(s). Daar kan het hotel op zich natuurlijk niets aan doen. En op navraag konden we koffie krijgen via de receptie. Maar eigenlijk vinden we het bij zo'n hotel horen dat dit proactief wordt aangeboden. Tot slot - maar dat is puur persoonlijk - vonden wij her jammer dat er naast het uitgebreide, luxe, menu van het restaurant niet ook een paar wat eenvoudigere gerechten op de kaart stonden. Wij wandelen stevig en hebben daarna niet zo'n behoefte aan culinair dineren. Hierdoor kozen wij ervoor buiten het hotel te eten.

A good stay made better by the great receptionist.
Pros:

Wanted to write a review because of how helpful the receptionist was. The hotel is a little out of town, with taxis being a bit of a problem. She not only gave us a lift into town on her way home, but recommended a walking route back which was really nice (and also not that long and flat all the way). The hotel itself is very nice, and does a good breakfast. I would also say there is a safe space to park motorbikes around the back of the hotel. So - all in all - would recommend.

Séjour très agréable dans l’ensemble
Pros:

L’ambiance et la décoration, soigneusement pensées avec goût, créent un cadre très agréable. L’espace extérieur est particulièrement relaxant, et la piscine extérieure chauffée était un vrai plus. Le petit déjeuner est impeccable, avec d’excellents produits frais. De plus, l’établissement est situé à proximité du centre, ce qui est idéal pour les visites.

Cons:

L’espace sauna était agréable, propre et de bonne qualité, mais il manquait toutefois certains équipements, notamment des serviettes à disposition au rez-de-chaussée. De plus, lorsque l’hôtel est complet, l’accès aux installations peut nécessiter un peu d’attente. Dans la chambre, la quantité de savon était insuffisante ; malgré notre remarque à la réception, cela n’a pas été suivi d’effet.

De mooie tuin aan de Ourthe.

Cons:

De kamer. Wij boekten een suniorsuite omdat we een hond bij hadden. Kregen een verouderde kamer met muffe vast tapijt, ook in de gangen muffe geur. Betaalden 15€ /nacht voor de hond en kamer werd nooit gestofzuigd 🤬. De foto's op de website komen zeker niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Persoon aan receptie zeer afstandelijk.

aangenaam! ik zie ons hier terugkomen!
Pros:

Heel mooi hotel met zwembad en sauna en lekker ontbijt. Goed gelegen, niet ver van het centrum met 2 wandelingen die onmiddellijk vanuit het hotel zelf vertrekken (in een lus) en door La Roche en Ardenne passeren. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid en voor wie het nodig heeft mogelijkheid tot elektrisch laden. Wij hadden kamers aan de straatkant, maar ik heb daar geen hinder van ondervonden (ik slaap met oordopjes, maar ook 's avonds stoorde het me niet wat niet wegneemt dat je op het terras de auto's natuurlijk hoort gezien je op de straat uitkijkt). Ontbijt is lekker en uitgebreid, sauna is mooi verzorgd met finse sauna, IR sauna, hammam, warm voetbad en verwarmd buitenzwembad. Wel niet supergroot het saunagedeelte, maar op het moment dat wij er waren was er niemand anders. Anders kan het misschien snel krap worden.

Cons:

Bedden kunnen iets beter... maar zeker geen slechte bedden.

La chambre que nous avions était juste à côté du système de « chauffage air co » qui se trouvait sur le toit et cela laissait un bruit de fond. Heureusement celui ci s est coupé à 23h30

Belle adresse, bon petit déjeuner mais clairement dîner à l’extérieur
