Pros:

This place might be considered a block or two from the tourist area but it made up for it with the staff’s hospitality and size and comfort. The room was an apartment; bedroom, living room and kitchenette. Everything was spotless and in working order. Shower was big, not a telephone booth. Clerks were knowledgeable about neighborhood restaurants and shops and gave clear directions. Great value I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Always a pleasure to return
Pros:

We returned to Hotel Sirio in Reggio Calabria and once again had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and perfectly located—just a short walk from the historic center and the beautiful Via Marina.

Nearby there is also a convenient charging station for electric cars, which made our trip even easier.

The staff were, as always, warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived, while always respecting our privacy. Our room had everything we needed: good air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, toiletries, and a spotless bathroom.

We also appreciated having a private parking spot. Since the hotel is located on a quiet side street, we felt our car was safe during our stay.

Breakfast was excellent, with freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes, a generous variety of local products, and a perfectly made cappuccino that I especially enjoyed.

We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care the staff put into everything. It’s always a pleasure to come back to Hotel Sirio, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Reggio Calabria.

Reasonable hotel with 24/7 reception
Pros:

The facilities were clean and the air conditioning was effective, given how hot it was in the evening. They were able to check us in very late into the evening. Breakfast was decent, offering a variety of pastries and cakes, plus yoghurts and juices. The room had electric hobs and a kitchen area.

Cons:

The staff seemed more interested in talking to the taxi driver that brought us in. The bed was rather solid, and the pillows were really soft which made the bed feel harder! Lights in hallways didn't work and the place could do with an update. Despite having kitchen facilities, there were no plates, cups, cutlery or cooking utensils
