Hotel Laurus - Liburnia

There was construction happening in front of the hotel where they were jack hammering out rock for hours at a time. The hot tub and spa facilities were less than inspiring.

The staff was super friendly, the view great, the breakfast outstanding.

The employees were very nice, breakfast is very good, the views are beautiful. Location a bit fat but irmt is a plus that has parking.

Estuvimos alojados 1 noche y fue maravillosa. Desde la cena con una atención personalizada del moso que intentó por todos los medios comunicarse en español, recomendación de vinos, etc. Luego el desayuno muy completo incluso con espumante libre. Para recomendar mucho

Non è Lubiana... Periferia, solo se sei in auto è possibile. La struttura è pulita, ma non accogliente

Stayed two nights. Upgraded to a larger apartment which was a good start. Facilities in the room were good although the bedroom had no black out/proper curtains only little filmy things - fortunately it was October so bright sunshine not a huge problem.

Are in the restaurant first night which was fine although a la carte dining isn’t really us.

Good night sleep first night second night not so good due to air con/heating thing outside the window which sporadically turned on and off and was quite noisy.

Nice balcony great view and staff were helpful. Good cold buffet choice at breakfast.

Loved this hotel. Why? The reception was welcoming and all of the staff members were service oriented. The room was clean and had a very special view overlooking the Adriatic sea. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed fine dining and service during our stay. One complaint was that the room was cold the first night. That was addressed. The reason being the heating system had not begun for the fall season. We had a good night after with the professional services of housekeeping. A bonus is that the hotel has parking. We would go back again. A special thanks to Erica and Carla for the cheerful help in highlighting areas to visit in and around Opatija. Much appreciated.

Grande chambre avec grand balcon, vue mer époustouflante.
Quant au petit déjeuner, un choix énorme, salé, sucré, charcuteries, fromages, gâteaux, viennoiseries…. Et même du Proseco !

Ein schönes Hotel mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht und einem großen Balkon. Es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze, teilweise im Parkhaus zur Verfügung.
Im Hotel ist ein Restaurant wo man sehr gut essen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

丘の上にある眺望が最高な素敵なホテル。小さめのホテルでスタッフもみんなとても親切。シャワーの強さも充分。エアコンの効きも良き。綺麗な室内にバルコニーからの絶景。朝食ビュッフェも種類豊富で美味しくて素敵すぎる！

The staff is very helpful and friendly. From the terrace you have a perfect view of the sea. Everything is very clean. The breakfast and restaurant has delicious food. It has good parking! The hotel is located on a 25% hill, which means that you have to go up and down a steep hill. The advantage of this is that you have a view of the sea.

Really enjoyed the quiet but convenient location. Beautiful views and friendly service. The restaurant was very good and a nice break from the crowds in town.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the staff could not have done more to accommodate us. We had a beautiful room and were upgraded to a sea view. The pool area and dining area were also wonderful. The staff in the dining room were exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very kind, polite, attentive, hardworking n friendly. Patric,d receptionist was specially super nice n helpful. We were assigned a room on d third floor ( Room 330 ) supposedly an upgrade. It was like being in an attic, air conditioning was soo poor, d temperature inside felt like you were outside in d 90 degree weather. Thank God, after talking to Patric who did his very best to please n accommodate us, we were transferred to more comfortable individual rooms ( there were 6 of us ). We all slept very well after. Breakfast was very good, waiter was very attentive n gave service with a smile. The views fr d patio restaurant was amazing. Overall, we had a very nice stay, service was commendable, location is quiet n parking was available.

Es ist sehr sauber, freundliches Personal. Tolles Frühstück.
Vor allem hervorzuheben die Hausdame Bjljana. Eine überaus freundliche und k.omponente Person. Man kann Sie immer ansprechen, erfüllt alle Wünsche.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights.
The positives
The view is to die for. The staff are excellent particularly the receptionist Erica and the dining room staff nothing was too much trouble.
BUT the negatives oh my!!!.
Our overall experience was one of a poorly managed hotel. Our first night we ate in the hotel dinning room which is classed as a gourmet restaurant!! Our first course was a cold dish and fabulous, the second course took an hour to arrive with loads of apologies from the waiter, my dish was terrible but in fairness my wife’s excellent.
The next night obviously we didn’t want to go through a similar experience so decided to have a salad in our room, that proved impossible as they didn’t have salads, although listed on the menu but we did have raw tuna which was ok. We tried to phone reception to take our plates etc. away but there was no one on reception!
Frankly with the price this hotel charges, the reputation it has one would expect much,much better
. On Saturday after our dining experience I asked if I could speak with the manager only to be told he wasn’t available until Monday morning. When I did get to see him he was very sorry etc. but frankly by this time I had enough,
Such a shame as the staff deserve better and more support. I think but am not sure the hotel had been acquired by a group who no doubt are cost cutting, but not their charges!

Absolutely beautiful !! Sweeping views of the sea. Cute seaside town can walk a long way on the sea wall. Nice restaurants and hotels along the way. Hotel is like a boutique. Nice pool and spa. The meals at the restaurant were delicious. The free breakfast is nice. The best thing about this hotel is the staff so attentive and kind. Rachel was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend
