An adorable place with an equally adorable family running it (plus their very cute little dog!). The rooms are done with a lovely local vibe and the bed was big and comfortable. For a place so close to the action it is also quite quiet. A really great place to come back to after a day of exploring. Thank you for a fab stay.
I actually don't mind this but I know that it is something that people consider - the water in the shower is room temp which, given how warm Mexico is, is quite refreshing
Wonderful!
Hospitable family atmosphere and a great location!
The place is super cozy and right in the heart of the city. Mercado is just a stone’s throw away, where you can find markets and shops galore. There are also restaurants nearby. If you rent a scooter, you can explore the city like a local. Collectivo Station is just a 300-meter walk away, and the owners are super friendly, including Poncho—the adorable dog!
Just a heads up, there are a lot of anti-mosquito devices around. Also, I can’t hang my clothes outside to dry because of the strong smell from the nearby shops. And the Wi-Fi connection is a bit spotty (maybe my room is in the corner).
Convenient location close to Tulum's busy center but not too close to the noise
The front door was somewhat difficult to locate
The location was good, not directly in the busy main street but a short walk from it. Thus it was relatively quiet for Tulum. The owners were very friendly with a cute dog.
The standard and overall equipment of the room were more like what I would expect from a hostel and not a hotel. The equipment of the room was rather simple and bleak. The bed sheets and towels smelled a bit and the bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom was a separate corner next to the bed with an indented wall that did not close to the ceiling, meaning that everything could be heard and smelled from the bathroom.
Owners are lovely
Good location
Room smelt and felt damp, but it had been raining a lot and very humid
Everything was good
Miroslava and Jorge are amazing people! Super welcoming and helpful!
The room was large and comfortable, with a big bed and adequately sized bathroom. the rooms surround a small courtyard so they feel safe and away from the street. the owners were polite, and there was a very cute dog. the AC was very effective.
the water temperature was a bit all over the place. tulum itself was dirty and expensive, tho the beach is beautiful.
Location, big room.
Room was dark, terrace was a whole in the wall, no light. Reception staff was very unpleasant. We had booked 4 nights we left after staying 2 nights only. No garbage bags were provided
- Warm and gracious hospitality
- Charming ambiance of a beautiful little home like hotel
- Attention to detail evident in the design of the room, like the ceramic sink
- traditional art in the room
- Inviting seating areas in the well-cared-for garden
- Charming hotel
- Proximity to the ATO bus station for convenient transportation options to other places and colectivo or taxi available otherwise if needed in Tulum
The hosts are very lovely people. The hotel room was tidy, quiet at night and spacious and there was everything we needed. Would recommend.
The room was beautiful and very spacious. The building is pretty and tastefully decorated. The bed is very big and comfortable. The lady was very cheerful and welcoming.
The shower could have had more pressure but it was fine.
Great location.
The staff were really nice and helpful.
They even had a dog living there.
The WiFi in my room was very hit and miss. I had to leave my room to get a signal sometimes.
+ good location (but not to go to the hotelier zone).
+ very nice green place
+ the sink was amazing)
- the bathroom door opens and closes very loudly. We woke up every night when one of us goes to the toilet.
- very poor wi-fi connection
- there was no trash can in the room
- It is said that the best beaches are in a protected area after the hotelier beaches, yes thye are beautiful and wild, but there are tons of plastic on the beach.
The sea burps plastic.
And it is weird for me “eco-friendly” Tulum is very dirty and seems like nobody cares about that.
I cleaned the beach, because I didn’t want to lie in plastic, but where to throw it away? you need a container.
- It is better to take a motorbike or bike to go to the hotelier, because you have to take a taxi collectivo and it’s really bad option.
It’s so difficult to come back from the beach to the hotel in the evening.
We have been waiting for taxi collectivo for an hour, they were full and they raise the price.
Regular taxi wants 40-100$ for 8 km. Haha.
The location was good.....
I rented the place especially for the bathtub and it had dirty water with green clumps, so it felt like a complete waste of money. Instead of giving me any money back, she told me to return for a free night...but i don´t want to.......
