Overall, our stay was fine.
Pros:

We arrived late because we flew up to watch our son play rugby, so being a hotel, this suited us. There was staff to check us in at 10pm

Cons:

The bed needs to be replaced. You can tell people sleep, when a single person, closest to the door and toilet; since the bed has a huge slope in it. It is noticeable when there is two of you in the bed.

Pros:

The restaurant!!! Everything prepared was delicious.
The staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Major issue - No laundry services 😞
You go stand in a queue to iron yourself in a room that felt it's 1x1.
Minor issue - You call room service, whatever you are requesting or reporting. You are told to come to the reception area to fetch it yourself (all Protea hotels I know have porter services etc.)
