Excellent stay in Suzhou!
Pros:

Cleaning staff was extremely friendly.
Wrote personal notes to let me know what had been cleaned etc.
Location was great especially if your room is facing the Jinji lake.

Great location, highly recommended for Suzhou trip
Pros:

Big and clean room. comfortable beds. The best part is the location -- a short walk are restaurants, a retail building, and a bridge with view of the lake. Also, the wifi works! We could connect to it.

A highly recommended base to explore Suzhou
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location; there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and sight-seeing of the river. The room was clean and big and had a beautiful view of the Suzhou skyline and river. Breakfast had a variety of food.
What I loved best was that the wifi actually worked. I've stayed in other 5-star hotels in China but the wi-fi was either so slow or as a foreigner, I couldn't access it, even if the hotel provided "free wifi." Intercon Suzhou was the first hotel I've stayed in where the wifi worked properly and as promised.
