Generally lovely but with a few end of season issues.
Pros:

A charming hotel, popular with the restaurant popular with the locals due to its seafood.
Spectacular views of the mountains all around.
The waiting staff were super helpful and kind.
Breakfast was excellent, especially the cheese and ham omelettes.
Dinner was excellent.
Teatime pear and chocolate cake - delicious.
A few problems with the hot water were fixed whilst we were there and a discount was applied to the bill which was kind and probably wasn't necessary.

Cons:

It isn't possible to make a refundable booking, so on 17th Feb I booked for 3rd to 10th April. It was pretty clear that we were coming for skiing but the hotel didn't mention that the Courmayeur ski resort closed on 6th April, unlike other nearby resorts such as La Thuile which closed on 12th April. When I contacted the hotel to try to cancel the booking I was told that this would be a problem and that the hotel would have to 'ask the owners'. It was suggested that I book a taxi for 10-12 Euros each way per person. This would have cost an extra 460 Euros for the last 3 days. In the end one family drove and we hired a car so that we could drive the 30minutes to La Thuile for skiing. This really added to the cost and affected apres ski. It would have been fairer for the hotel to let us know up front that the resort was only open for 3 days of our stay, the hotel was full so I don't think they would have lost out.
The underground parking is very tight. and whilst there is a ski storage room with boot racks they weren't heated.
Heating didn't come on until 5pm which made it difficult for us to dry our ski jackets etc..
Booking.com states that the hotel is 200m from the Dolonne ski lift, but this is as the crow flies. In reality it is a 550m walk on the road or 350m walk over a field which, by April, is muddy.
Wine at dinner was expensive - we were urged to buy a local bottle for 52 Euros, it would have been lovely to have more local lower cost options.

Una cosa che ho trovato fantastica è il profumo delle lenzuola! Profumo di pulito!!!
Come d'altronde tutto il resto della struttura. Pulita e accogliente.
Il personale super! Gentile, preparato e caloroso!
Colazione molto buona e con diverse proposte.
Un posto dove tornare sicuramente...perché, anche se breve, la vacanza va goduta...e qui è il posto giusto!

C’est un hôtel vraiment hors du temps . Nous sommes en avril ( Pâques) et il était encore dévoré façon Noël . J’ai adoré . C’était vraiment mignon .

Cons:

Personnel trop sympa , chambre propre et sdb propre . Seul hic une télé minuscule . Mais vraiment minuscule. À part ça tout génial

Very nice little hotel, with serviceminded and friendly staff.
Pros:

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mycket bra frukost. Tillgång till fräsch bastu, mot avgift. Bra restaurant för middag. Fräscht och välstädat rum. Nära till lift, ski in/out.

Cons:

15min något kuperad promenad till centrum. Kanske något att tänka på ifall man har svårigheter att gå.
