Motorcycle friendly
Pros:

Motorcycle friendly. Great welcome. Good breakfast. Only a few minutes walk into town. Swimming pool was lovely too.

Gutes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal

Comfortable, reasonable value and well positioned, but a bit tired
Pros:

Location was excellent for access to the old town. The available breakfast food selection was good, (we didn't eat in the hotel for dinner). The reception and bar staff were very friendly. The room was a good size.

Cons:

Despite apparently being equipped with air conditioning (the control unit and the vents were present) the aircon did not work. My friends reported that theirs also was non-functional. The bathroom, while of a good size, with a bath and over-bath shower, was rather run-down, with wall covering peeling off in places and quite a lot of mold around the bath and wall edges. The bath and basin were clean (apart from the mold), as was the room, but it all looked old and a bit neglected.

Großes, älteres Hotel-aber gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
Pros:

Die Lage, nicht weit zur Altstadt( nur bergab).
Schwimmbad im 5. Stock war echt erfrischend.
Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig! Preis war gut!
Fahrradgarage groß und gut erreichbar!

Cons:

Rezeption war bei Ankunft am frühen Nachmittag total überfordert( Auszubildende?)
Einchecken hat fast 30 Min. gedauert!
Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Great value hotel
Pros:

The staff were great, very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
The bar had a great range of cocktails and again very friendly staff.
Location was a short walk from the beautiful village of Monschau

Cons:

The hotel a little tired but very clean.

Alles reine Katastrophe!
Cons:

Hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber war nur ein Bett gerichtet, Toilettenpapier hat gefehlt, Abendessen war versalzen, Probleme laufend, Essen bezahlt, hatten es nicht verbucht!

Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht noch mal buchen

Auf den ersten Blick ok.

Cons:

Das 1. Zimmer war nicht sauber. Toilette sowie Bettlacken waren beschmutzt.
Man hat uns aber dann ein neues Zimmer gegeben.
Dort gab es nur Lampen an den Betten und eine Stehlampe. An der Wanne befand sich Rotschimmel und der Fön gab nach dem Benutzen den Geist auf. Die Wände hätten mal einen neuen Anstrich verdient. Die Außenanlagen waren auch sehr ungepflegt, überall Unkraut und Dreck.
Das Empfangspersonal war sehr nett, im Gegensatz zu dem Personal an der Bar. Man wurde nur einmal nach Wünschen gefragt und dann wird keiner mehr gesehen. Man spielte lieber an dem Handy.

Locatie prachtig, maar valt verder tegen
Pros:

Locatie is prachtig, uitstraling van het pand ook erg mooi. Parkeren naast de locatie is prettig.

Cons:

Ik boekte een Superior Tweepersoonskamer.
In tegenstelling tot wat de naam doet vermoeden is het een erg basic kamer: gehorig (je hoort de mensen in de naastgelegen kamer), geen waterkoker/koffie op de kamer, versleten vloer.
Kamers worden slechts schoongemaakt op verzoek: bij een verblijf van drie nachten geen schoonmaak of schone handdoeken zonder daar actief om te vragen.
Mijn kamer was ik het voormalige pand van 'Michel and friends' wat aangesloten is bij het Achat hotel. Je vindt overal stickertjes van Achat die over het oude logo van 'Michel and friends' zijn geplakt. Ik verbleef dus niet in het karakteristieke pand waarmee ze adverteren en de reden was dat ik hier geboekt heb.

Door wat rumoerigheid vanuit de kamer naast mijn, waardoor ik niet prettig kon slapen, wilde ik op de tweede dag om 23:00 nog wat drinken bij de bar. Hoewel aangegeven wordt dat deze tot 0:00 geopend is was deze toen toch al gesloten.

Ontbijt valt ook wat tegen: koffiemachines waren stuk op de eerste dag (wel kannen met filterkoffie), basic broodjes (geen croissants of luxe broodjes), machine met multifruit sap op de tweede dag leeg. Fruit zeer beperkt. Voor 19 euro verwacht je toch veel meer.
Tip: mijn derde dag ontbijt overgeslagen en in het dorp op de markt ontbeten voor 8 euro bij een bakkertje. Hélemaal.compleet verse broodjes en jus d'orange en heerlijke koffie!

Alles soweit ok, das Hotel hat seine Dienste erfüllt, das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend und

Frühstück war passabel, aber ziemlich eingeschränkt im Angebot. Das Rührei war eine Enttäuschung. Und das Angebot an Obst und Müsli war für mich zu schmal.
Zimmer war ok aber sparsam eingerichtet, nicht sehr einladend.
Bad war gut und Wasserdruck bemerkenswert gut.
Lage ware ok, Parksituation schwierig.

Cons:

Insgesamt passt das Angebot nicht zur Klassifizierung und dem Preis - es ist ein passables Hotel aber nicht besonders bemerkenswert.

Pros:

Die Bar war bis 0.00 Uhr in der Woche geöffnet, netter Sitzbereich, Innen und Außen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer, insbesondere das Bad ist renovierungsbedürftig (4.Etage)
Der Poolbereich könnte auch mal aufgehübscht werden.
Ein 4 Sterne Hotel ist es nur, weil es einen Pool hat.
