Perfect self catering apartments in Port Douglas
Pros:

We had apartment #8 which was perfect in every way. Super clean, comfortable, fresh and well appointed, lovely views from the balconies and everything we needed in the kitchen, easy and ample parking on site or on road outside. Quiet location but only a 2 min walk to the stunning 4 mile beach in one direction, 5 mins walk to the main street with shops, bars and restaurants in the other direction. Effective aircon in all rooms. We use the BBQ on the ground floor one evening, it was great, clean and all the required utensils were provided. Great communication with the hosts, this place fully deserves its high review rating.

Cons:

The pool is fairly small, but was it never busy during our stay so not a problem.

It was a great location - close to the beach and within walk distance of the main town. The owner was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It is a more basic holiday apartment than the luxury offering advertised. The relaxation area beside the pool was very gloomy and rather uninviting. There were very few power points around the apartment and we had to move the bed to access the electrical sockets there.

Cons:

I did not use the swimming pool because it is too small. No garden, but the apartment is 500m from the beach.
